“I went through a really tough time about a year and a half ago. It was made into this whole eating disorder thing, but it had nothing to do with it. I was just going through some serious emotional problems. People don’t know, but we found out a family member had a terminal illness and he just passed away, so it was like all these things were colliding. That’s just how emotional stress affects my body. I have pressure to be a size bigger. I feel like I get shit all the time for being too small.”

The cast of Sony’s “21,” a Las Vegas-set action film slated for release March 28, will receive a special ensemble award at ShoWest 2008.
Cast members including Jim Sturgess, Kate Bosworth, Laurence Fishburne and Kevin Spacey will be feted March 13 at an awards gala set to close the exhibition confab. ShoWest opens March 10 at the Bally’s and Paris hotels in Las Vegas.
“Kate Bosworth, Laurence Fishburne and Kevin Spacey have endeared audiences with individual standout roles in a number of previous films, and Jim Sturgess is an actor who is surely about to break through,” ShoWest co-managing director Mitch Neuhauser said. “Their unique talents have blended together to produce a dynamic chemistry onscreen.”
“21” will premiere March 12 at ShoWest, with an afterparty set for Planet Hollywood.
PS: “21” will mark the third movie Kate Bosworth and Kevin Spacey have starred in together. They first appeared in “Beyond the Sea” and later starred in “Superman Returns.”

Kate Bosworth talks to NYLON about being the new face of Calvin Klein Jeans!
Who’s more all-American than Kate Bosworth?! Calvin Klein wanted to see more of the starlet than in the front row of his fashion shows, so today announced that she would be the new face of Calvin Klein Jeans. Shot by David Sims, the campaign marks a return to classic “clean, pure” CK. In the midst of filming 21, here Bosworth talks about her first global modeling gig ever! SG
“It’s funny, I definitely feel much more uncomfortable modeling because it’s not something I know how to do. When I act, I’m not aware of the camera; I’m just there with the actor in that moment. As a model, you’re very aware of the camera. What I enjoyed most about doing this campaign was finding and becoming a certain character. I think working with people like David Sims [photographer] and Karl Templer [stylist], who want to find and shape that character, instead of simply capturing a pretty picture, is really exciting. So, this campaign was a little bit like an acting job in that way.”
