Justin Timberlake was the inspiration for Coldplay’s new album Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends, according to frontman Chris Martin.

The band’s drummer Will Champion is such a fan of Timberlake’s hit track Cry Me A River, he used it as inspiration for one of their’s tracks, Lost!

Martin says, “One song we’re always trying to chase is Cry Me A River in terms of the beats and everything. I know that is one of Will’s favourite songs. And he did all the drums on Lost!”

After much speculation, and some tight-lipped responses, Justin Timberlake is on the verge of proposing to Jessica Biel, claims The Sun.

A source has stated “For the first time in his life he is feeling settled and has definitely decided to pop the question to Jessica.”

JT has recently spent away from the beautiful actress whilst promoting the single 4 Minutes with Madonna and the separation has apparently jolted him into realising Jessica is ‘the one’.

And to add to the picture-perfect couple’s happiness, Jessica has been seen avoiding alcoholic drinks, sparking rumours that she is pregnant.

Aside from long term loves Britney Spears and Cameron Diaz, JT has been linked with a host of beauties in the past including Scarlett Johansson and Christina Aguilera.

Cameron Diaz got some friendly support from her exes Justin Timberlake and John Mayer as her family held a memorial service for her late father Sunday.

Emilio Diaz, 58, died of pneumonia Tuesday morning. On Wednesday, Cameron, 35, thanked everyone for their condolences in a message that read: “His humor and spirit will always live on in our hearts.”

And in keeping with that exuberant Diaz family spirit, guests arrived at the memorial service at Mahe in Seal Beach in non-traditional garb. “Most people started arriving at 1:30 and hardly no one wore black,” says a source.”Lots of people were wearing Hawaiian shirts. It looked more like a party.”

Timberlake and Mayer arrived separately and stayed until most people started leaving around 4 p.m. – after Cameron had spoken a few words to the group.

Justin Timberlake has signed with leading sports and entertainment company IMG as he attempts to develop an eco-friendly golf course in his native Memphis, Tennessee.

IMG bosses will represent all the pop star’s golf-related projects.

The singer is also developing his own charity golf tournament to aid America’s Shriners Children’s Hospitals.

Justin Timberlake has agreed to meet up with his ex-girlfriend Britney Spears at a family barbecue this summer, according to new reports.

Spears’ father Jamie has reportedly reached out to the Cry Me A River singer in the hope that the reunion will further aid his daughter’s recovery from mental illness issues, which resulted in her being hospitalised twice earlier this year.

Insiders tell Life & Style magazine that Jamie has set up a meeting between his daughter and Timberlake at a low-key summer barbecue.

The source says, “Jamie reached out to Justin and asked if he’d be willing to come over to Britney’s house to talk to her face-to-face, and Justin said yes.

“Jamie’s hoping that by finally seeing him, she’ll be able to get some real closure, some resolution. He thinks that might be a huge help to her.”

The news comes just a month after Timberlake poked fun at his childhood sweetheart while inducting Madonna into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.

He joked, “There have been a lot of wannabes, I may have even dated a couple of them.”

Timberlake and Spears dated for four years from 1998 to 2002.
