It was reported earlier this week that Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel had gotten engaged sometime around the holidays, and today Justin’s grandmother, Sadie Bomar, confirmed that YES! the couple is engaged!

An employee of the “Wendy Williams Show” called Timberlake’s grandmother who lives in Tennessee, digging for some information.

According to the employee, Grandma Timberlake said she thinks the reports of the engagement are true, and she thinks it did in fact happen over the holidays.

Justin’s grandma said she thinks the couple wanted to enjoy their holidays in peace and that his publicity team had a put a hold on the big news. She also said that she’s excited for them and she’s met Jessica several times and thinks she’s a “lovely, sweet girl.”

Of course grandma would find it hard to keep the good news quiet, but this isn’t the first time the press has turned to Sadie Bomar for comment.

Back in 2009, Justin’s grandmother confirmed that the couple had broken up. Back then, Sadie told reporters, “Jessica was keen to marry, but Justin isn’t ready … The girlfriends come and go, but we believe nothing has ever been serious.”

Happy for them! Here’s to many more engagements in 2012! Who’s next? I hope it’s Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux!

After being on-again, off-again for years, it looks like Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have finally decided to get married!

Several insiders tell the new issue of Us Weekly (on stands Friday) that the couple of four and a half years became engaged in late December.

Timberlake, a six-time Grammy winner, popped the question to Biel, 29, in the mountains of Jackson, Wyoming. “Justin knows how much she loves snowboarding and the mountains, so it was the perfect place,” one insider explains.

After a brief three-month split in 2011, Biel made it clear that she wanted to spend her life with Timberlake, 30. “When they reunited, they had a conversation about taking the next step.”

Another Timberlake insider adds that he’s “never been happier” with the New Year’s Eve actress. “He knew it was the right time to propose.”

No word from either rep, but if it’s true, congrats to the couple!

Rumor has it Justin Timberlake and on-again girlfriend Jessica Biel are engaged!

According to sources, Justin popped the question at a luxury resort in Wyoming on Monday.

The pair are apparently staying at the five star skiing resort in Jackson called the Amangani. According to spies at the hotel, Justin got down on one knee and proposed!

An art gallery in Jackson apparently heard the news (they were quite literally the talk of the town) and wrote the following tweet: “Word on the street is that Justin Timberlake proposed to Jessica Biel at the Amangani last night.”

Who knows, that could in all honesty be an employee of the hotel looking to stir up a little publicity.

If they did get engaged, it wouldn’t come as a huge surprise. Justin and Jessica dated for four years before splitting early last year. After being apart for a couple months, the couple rekindled their romance a few months later.

I guess we’ll soon know if the rumors are true!

Johnny Depp has been tipped as the hot favorite to play Michael Jackson in a biopic about the life of the King of Pop.

Other contenders include Usher, Zac Efron, Will Smith or Justin Timberlake.

The director will have his hands full trying to cast the right person with a source revealing: “It’s going to be one mammoth task trying to get someone good enough at acting and dancing to fill Michael Jackson’s moon-walking shoes. They will need someone with edge, with uniqueness about them.”

Ghostbuster director Ivan Reitman and Up In The Air producer Tom Pollock are currently in talks regarding the project.

Amanda Seyfried is in talks to play the role of legendary porn star-turned-activist Linda Lovelace, according to Variety.

She’s in talks to play the role in the aptly titled “Lovelace,” a drama based on a biography by Eric Danville. Peter Sarsgaard is in talks to play the role of Chuck Traynor, the man who turned the then-Linda Boreman into a porn star, married her and allegedly abused her before she filed for divorce.

Seyfried and Sarsgaard aren’t the first stars to be attached to this specific film, as back in January, it was reported that Kate Hudson and James Franco would play Lovelace and Traynor, respectively; the film’s directors, Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman, headed up the Allen Ginsberg biopic in which Franco starred last year. Olivia Wilde was rumored to be in talks for the role last week, but she denied her involvement.

Lindsay Lohan was set to play Lovelace in a biopic titled “Inferno” last year, but legal troubles have put the kibosh on that.

I think Amanda is a much better choice than Lindsay. For soooo many reasons, but mainly because Amanda can actually act. There’s a much better chance of the movie being seen if Lindsay’s not in it.

Justin Timberlake may be back on again with his longtime love, actress Jessica Biel, but he had no problem acting as the spokesperson for all American men when he shared his crush for Duchess Kate‘s sister, Pippa Middleton.

“Us American males are big fans of Pippa,” Timberlake, 30, gushes to the British mag (excerpted by the Daily Mail) of Pippa, 27.

“We like the Middletons very much,” he adds, alluding to Prince William’s bride, 29. “I’m going to sound like a sleazeball. I’m going to stop right there!”

Even if Justin was single, he would still be heartbroken, seeing as how Pippa has reunited with her ex Alex Loudon after they, too, had a brief break-up.

ScarJo is at it again. After her marriage breakup with Ryan Reynolds in December 2010, the starlet has been linked to a series of men from Justin Timberlake to Kieran Culkin (Macaulay’s younger bro) to Sean Penn and now she’s been caught swapping saliva with 50/50 star, Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Scars and Jo were first seen dining together and “discussing a project for a while” at Hundred Acres restaurant in New York’s SoHo area in late July. Sparks obviously flew and the two were most recently spotted inspecting each other’s tonsils in New York City last month.

“They were kissing and very hands on,” reveals a witness. “They were very lovey and didn’t try to hide it. They were infatuated with each other.”

While friends of the duo are insisting there is nothing at all going on, I’m going to beg to differ. Keep your eyes peeled for this hot new romance.
