Justin Timberlake continues to mourn the loss of Michael Jackson.
Timberlake has performed with the King of Pop, including an ‘NSYNC duet with Jackson at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards. Timberlake was so influenced by Jackson that he also wore a fedora and glove and showed off Jackson-esque dance moves in his “Cry Me a River” video.
“The thing about Michael is the memories,” Timberlake tells MTV U.K. “I’m lucky enough to have memories — actually, physically — with him onstage and off.”
He says the way the entire world has reacted to Jackson’s passing is a “testament to how big a deal it is, obviously, because he’s created so many cultural photos in people’s minds with his music that he was and always will be the King of Pop.”
“To create the things that he created with his music is untouchable,” Timberlake goes on. “He opened the minds of the world to be able to do that through his music… [it’s] a feat not accomplished by many people, maybe only a handful of people. I don’t think anyone ever did it like him.”
Jackson - who died June 25 at the age of 50 after suffering cardiac arrest -
“opened the minds of people about music,” Timberlake said. “He opened the minds of people about culture. Even if it was this much in your conscious, he helped with segregation. His music did that and not a lot of people can say that. Michael was the baddest!”

According to a new report, singer Justin Timberlake is just one of the stars considering honoring the late star by saving his sell-out gigs in the UK.
The Cry Me a River hitmaker is apparently rallying support for a special memorial show at London’s O2 Arena to mourn the death of the Prince of Pop and allow fans to pay their respects.
“Michael was Justin’s idol, like he was for many artists,” says a source close to the singer. “Right now he’s still in shock but already there is a big feeling that he and maybe some others in the entertainment industry should do something to show their admiration for Michael and his music.
“Michael was working so hard to make his comeback in London work so it would be fitting if Justin and some of his friends fulfilled at least some of that commitment in some small way.”
Timberlake has already paid his respects to Jackson — who passed away Thursday after suffering an apparent cardiac arrest at his home in Los Angeles.
“I can’t find the words right now to express how deeply saddened I am by Michael’s passing,” Timberlake wrote on his website. “We have lost a genius and a true ambassador of not only Pop music but of all music.
“He has been an inspiration to multiple generations and I will always cherish the moments I shared with him on stage and all of the things I learned about music from him and the time we spent together. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones.”

A nightclub owner is defending Justin, blasting reports that he cheated on Jessica. Witnesses saw Justin with a mystery girl, thus setting in motion the rumors that he was stepping out on his girlfriend.
Noah Tepperberg, owner of the club where JT was partying, said, “My partner, Danny A., was with Justin and a few of his guy friends the entire night, and I was within 15 feet of him the whole time he was there, and we know for sure he was not doing anything with other girls.”
He added, “He was having a good time with the guys, and came and left with them. I have surveillance cameras that show this to be the case and anything you are hearing is simply not true.”

Lilo allegedly witnessed Timber cheating at Avenue nightclub in New York Monday night — something this blog first put together — and LiLo not-so-cryptically Tweeted about it by saying,
“… where’s jb cheater?” (jb = Jessica Biel)

Justin Timberlake joked about sleeping with ex Britney Spears on his weekend appearance on Saturday Night Live.
The 28-year-old singer played an immigrant named Cornelius Timberlake and jokingly predicted the future for his family.
“I’d like to think that at first, he’ll date a popular female singer,” he said (watch above). “Publicly, they’ll claim to be virgins. But privately, he’ll hit it.”
Timberlake and Andy Samberg also created another digital short that picked up where Emmy-winning “D–k in a Box” left off.
