Boys will be boys, right, Justin Bieber?
In a new interview with GQ Magazine, Bieber seems to be just as full of himself as ever, but also more in control than most teen celebs his age. He drinks, but not to excess, draws penises on everything (he’s 18, not 10!), and attests to “never having made a bad song.”
Wow.
He also defends friend and reality star Kim Kardashian, whom he says works very hard. We agree with this statement, but Justin- can we grow up a little.
The article seeks to answer if Bieber is not just a legal adult, but if he’s truly a MAN. Read the article “Man Up, Bieber.” for yourself, and decide…

Even the good boys get a little naughty every now and then.
In the June issue of GQ, 18-year-old Justin Bieber confesses to drinking alcohol, even though he’s underage. ”For me, it’s just like, I like to be in control of myself. I mean, I’ve had a beer, like, before. . . But I never get out of control.”
He says he doesn’t let himself get out of control because he doesn’t want to disappoint his fans. Scooter Braun, Bieber’s manager, says the “Boyfriend” singer “knows that I hold him to a high standard. He doesn’t want to blow it.”
Explains Bieber: “I mean, I keep my guard up a lot, because you know, you can’t trust anyone in this business. That’s what’s sad. You can’t trust anybody. I learned the hard way.”
The Canadian pop star — who tells GQ he’s “never made a bad song” — also defends reality star and longtime pal Kim Kardashian, 31, after a member of his entourage says the “bitch should never wear white in public again.”
“You guys are so mean, bro,” Bieber tells his tour manager Allison Kaye. “People say she doesn’t do anything; she actually does do stuff. She works hard.”
Well, if Bieber says so.

18-year-old Justin Bieber is now a high school graduate.
The “Boyfriend” singer recently admitted the news to the UK paper, The Daily Telegraph. “I just finished high school. I passed my test — I’m free! It was hard doing school and work every day.”
The fact that Bieber made the effort to fit in his schooling is fairly impressive. His girlfriend, Selena Gomez, also made time in between her hit TV show, busy touring schedule and film career to graduate from high school in 2010. But there are dozens of young stars in Hollywood, such as Beyonce, Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Jessica Simpson, who didn’t finish school once their careers took off.
And although he’s done now, finishing school wasn’t his highest priority. “[Graduating] was something my mom really wanted me to do, so I had to do it for her,” he admitted, adding that he’s more a fan of the school of life. “I mean, this kind of lifestyle has given me a different perspective on life. I’ve been able to travel the world. At school, usually you have to do a lot of writing and reading. I’m not really into that stuff. I like to be out there.”
It’s clear that Bieber has good influences in his life, pushing him to make the decisions that most millionaire teenagers probably wouldn’t make on their own. Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun just signed on as a producer for director Adam McKay’s new documentary about the soaring number of high school dropouts in the United States.
Wonder if college is in his future?

Justin Bieber has written a song just for Mariah Yeater, the woman who claimed Bieber fathered her child.
First, he taunted her by saying “you’ll never get this” on Twitter. NOW, Bieber told reporters in London on Monday that Yeater is the focal point in one of his songs on his new album, ‘Believe’.
“There’s a song about that girl that said she was gonna have my baby, Mariah Yeater,” Bieber said. “There are songs about things I’m going through. I wrote songs about different situations.”
Yeater, 20, shocked the world in November 2011 when she accused the pop star, then 17, of fathering her 3-month-old son after having unprotected sex in a backstage bathroom. Bieber vehemently denied any interaction with Yeater, agreeing to take a DNA paternity test and threatening to take her to court. (The paternity suit has presumably been discontinued).
“I know I’m going to be a target, but I’m never going to be a victim … But to set the record straight, none of it is true,” Bieber told Matt Lauer on the “Today” show just a few days after being slapped with the paternity lawsuit. “Never met the woman.”
Kind of want to hear the song now!

We know Justin Bieber isn’t the father of Mariah Yeater‘s kid, but can’t he just leave it alone already?
Mariah Yeater, 20, caused quite a stir when she claimed Bieber was the father of her baby last fall. Yeater claimed that last year (when she was 19 and Bieber was 16) that she became pregnant with Bieber’s baby after a sexual encounter backstage after Bieber’s L.A. concert in October. Bieber took a DNA test and everything, showing that her statements were…less than honest.
According to US Weekly, Saturday Bieber tweeted, “Dear mariah yeeter…we have never met…so from the heart i just wanted to say…” He then linked to a YouTube clip of Sacha Baron Cohen‘s Borat character repeating, “You will never get this. You will never get this. La la la la la…”
He’s right- she probably won’t get Bieber, or “get” that her actions were totally lame. Bieber was probably in a weird mood- he tweeted lots of other humorous stuff- but can we get Bieber back to making music? Thanks!

Justin Bieber was busy this weekend filming the music video for his new song, “Boyfriend”.
Justin has been hard at work on his “Boyfriend” video for a while now. And he made it clear to MTV News that despite the song’s lyrics, he won’t be donning any costumes in the Colin Tilley-directed video. “I won’t be dressed up as Buzz Lightyear,” he said. “I think there’s some copyright issues; I can’t use that.”
The new stills give fans another glimpse of what to expect from the video, which have up until now mostly been teases of the singer in shadow or with only a black backdrop behind him as women put their hands all over him. “The concept of this video, I mean, it’s not like a steady concept,” he said back in March. “It’s not like ‘Justin follows this girl to this spot.’ No, it’s a bunch of amazing scenes: like a fire scene, we have an ice scene.
“It’s kind of like bouncing back and forth,” he said. “And then there’s scenes of me and just a bunch of girl dancers, and just some great shots, great artistic shots, great shots of me smiling. It’s fun.”
“Boyfriend” is the lead single off Bieber’s June 19 release, Believe.
While filming this weekend in downtown Los Angeles, Beiber’s girlfriend surprised him by showing up on set. The two quickly got cosing, as Selena jumped into his arms, and the two shared a kiss.
Hmm, wonder if the two of them are still keeping it PG?

Are there wedding bells in the future for Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber?
The two are extremely young (Gomez is 19 and Bieber is 18), but the two were spotted ring shopping in some very high-priced jewelery stores. Sources close to them, according to The Chicago Sun Times, say that it isn’t out of the question that the media could be hearing news of an engagement in the future. In fact, some friends of the couple are expecting it!
It sounds romantic, but also…like a gamble. Celebrity marriages are often rocky, but a celebrity teenage marriage? It makes me nervous!
