Jude Law had to practice getting kidnapped before he traveled to Afghanistan - in case he faced a real life hostage situation.
The Alfie star paid a secret visit to the Middle Eastern state last year, where he met officials and filmed discussions about the United Nations’ (UN) annual Peace Day.
And Law was forced to undergo vigorous training to make sure he was prepared if he faced a hostile situation in the war-torn region.
He says, “I was made to do the United Nations’ security test. That was quite an eye opener because we had to go through a mock kidnap and hostage profile including being broken down under interrogation. That really raised my eyebrows.”

Jude Law’s young son Rafferty has landed his first major film role, starring alongside his father in sci-fi thriller Repossession Mambo.
The 11-year-old will play a younger version of Law’s character in the movie, which is due for release next year.
Law’s ex-wife and Rafferty’s mother, Sadie Frost, is convinced the youngster is perfect for the role as he has inherited his dad’s good looks.
She says, “Rafferty is very good, he looks just like Jude.”

He was painfully hot in Alfie. It’s like porn for me, I swear. I’m not going to say I’d slam the door in his face if he showed up at my doorstep, but he’s definitely not Alfie hot anymore.

Singer-turned-actress Norah Jones was overwhelmed after sharing love scenes with Jude Law in her movie debut My Blueberry Nights, because the onscreen couple had to kiss over 90 times.
Jones, 29, and the Alfie star lock lips twice in the film - and the first of their embraces took three days to film.
She says, “It was an interesting situation and it was just plain weird. I had to kiss Jude about 90 times and I didn’t want to laugh, but it seemed so ridiculous. What in the world am I doing kissing Jude Law? He’s Jude… and I’m… me. We laughed a lot between takes. It was actually very choreographed, but there was beautiful music playing in the background. Now when I hear that music I think about kissing Jude Law.”
I don’t think I’d mind taking her place. You?

Jude Law and ex-wife Sadie Frost will spend an unconventional Christmas in Cuba - learning to dance the Salsa. The couple will take their children Rafferty, 11, Iris, seven and Rudy, five, plus Frost’s son from a previous relationship, Finlay, 17, to Havana where they will learn the South American dance moves.
A source tells British newspaper the Daily Express, “They’ve already started joking about Jude’s lack of rhythm. No doubt there will be a lot of stomping on Sadie’s toes.”

Jude Law, who turns 35 on December 29, celebrated his birthday a little early during a party at LAX nightclub in Las Vegas on Saturday.
Yikes- someone might want to get him Rogaine or a pair of clippers for gifts.
