British singer Joss Stone has stopped dying her hair after it started falling out. The 20-year-old has become famous for her singing, as well as her ever-changing hair color. She has opted to return to her blonde roots, fearing that she’ll lose her hair for good if she keeps dying it.

She says, “I did all of the colors, and I kind of ran out. My hair’s starting to disintegrate, so I decided that I’ll give it a little rest.”

British singer Joss Stone shocked guests at a heart disease benefit, by singing the praises of cigarettes. The star was one of a number of celebrity guests at a New York Fashion Week bash on Saturday (2FEB08) to promote U.S. National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute’s (NHLBI) annual Heart Truth awareness campaign.

When asked what she did to protect her heart, Stone, 20, revealed she smoked hand-rolled cigarettes – which she wrongly claimed are less harmful than pre-packaged ones. She told the New York Daily News, “In England we smoked rolled cigarettes. It’s better to smoke rollies than straights because straights have chemicals that keep them burning. So if you have to really smoke, smoke rollies.”

A 2006 study established hand-rolled cigarettes are actually more likely to cause lung and oesophageal cancer.

Joss Stone is having a relationship with 40-year-old producer Dennis Rodman Raphael Saadiq – her singer friend Lemar has revealed.

British soul singer Lemar said the pair are definitely an item, despite the 19-year-old star’s publicist refusing to confirm rumours.

Lemar told Smooth FM radio: “I’ve known about their relationship for ages. Joss is always texting me about how happy she is. And it’s the real deal.”

Sexy soul singer JOSS STONE seems determined to lose as many fans as possible, after keeping crowds waiting at her gig last night for more than two and a half hours.

With no support acts in between, the 19-year-old didn’t exactly endear herself to the fans when she finally appeared on stage – without an apology.

And with the crowd booing already, Joss had a hard task of bringing them around, especially as she started off her set with three numbers from her new album, which were unknown to many fans.

Despite being one of the brightest young talents of recent British music, Joss seems to be having difficulty dealing with fame at such a young age, according to critics. Some say the barefooted soul singer still has a beautiful voice, but a recent spate of PR faux pas have not helped her cause as an artist.

Joss recently bemoaned having a multi-million pound lifestyle and having to fly all around the world performing. And the teenager from Devon managed to produce a bizarre mid-Atlantic US accent when delivering an award at the Brits, which infuriated many fans.
