Josh Holloway, from ‘Lost’, is returning to the small screen!

Sawyer, its about time you showed up on TV again! EW has learned exclusively that Josh Holloway — who played James “Sawyer” Ford on ABC’s Lost — is in the process of closing a deal to make a cameo in Community’s two-part season finale. It’s set for May but no date has been announced.

Holloway’s character will emerge as a mysterious figure who shows up on campus during another game of paintball. The two-parter is a sequel, of sorts, to “Modern Warfare” — last year’s memorable episode that began with the Dean announcing a prize for a game of paintball. It devolved into campus-wide battle.

There were some rumors floating around Hollywood that Holloway was a contender for NBC’s remake of The Rockford Files, but the project never emerged from development hell. The actor ultimately signed a deal to co-star in the sequel Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.

The long hair is back!

In a Russian uniform, Bruce Springsteen T-shirt and a large mustache, Tom Cruise begins filming scenes for his latest project, Mission Impossible 4 which has begun filming on location in Prague, Czech Republic today.

Man, you know Tom Cruise needs this movie to succeed! He’s had a stretch of bad luck in the movie department lately. His last successful movie was 2008′s Tropic Thunder, and he wasn’t even in it that much. His last three starring movies have bombed. Lions for Lambs, Valkyrie and Knight & Day.

Tom Cruise recently opened up about doing the another MI movie, “My whole thing with the series is always having a new director come on and put their stamp on ‘Mission: Impossible,’ ” he told MTV News this summer. “Brian De Palma was first, then John Woo, J.J. Abrams and now Brad Bird, so it will be Brad Bird’s ‘Mission: Impossible.’ ” Regarding his thoughts on the story line — which is, of course, very much under wraps — Cruise said simply: “It’s sick. It’s fun, really fun.”

So which Lost alum is joining the cast? Josh Holloway! Josh will play a member of the Impossible Mission Force, the high-tech and top-secret task force headed by Tom Cruise‘s character, Ethan Hunt.

This will be Josh’s first big feature-film role. He’s best known for playing Sawyer on ABC’s LOST.

Other cast members include Jeremy Renner (love him!), Ving Rhames and Simon Pegg.

Josh Holloway has survived for six years as the quintessential sexy bad boy, James ‘Sawyer’ Ford on TV’s popular Lost. But now Josh is facing the end as the series begins its sixth and final season tonight on ABC. The 40-year-old father-of-one provided a few clues to Parade as to what viewers can expect from his beloved character.

On his personal journey while filming Lost: “What can I say? My God, I’ve had so many life-changing experiences since the show has begun. I’ve gotten married. I’ve got my first home. We have a beautiful baby daughter. I finally feel validated as an actor. It’s just been quite a phenomenal journey.”

On if the ‘old Sawyer’ is back this season: “He’s definitely got his faults again. He’s completely emotionally destroyed and does not care about life so much anymore. However, the lessons he’s learned on the island and the humanity that he’s been forced to acknowledge and grow with has come into play too. That’s probably the only thing that will keep him from offing himself or something.”

Lost heartthrob Josh Holloway and wife Yessica welcomed a daughter on April 9 in Oahu, PEOPLE has exclusively confirmed. They named their baby girl Java Kumala Holloway.

“Dad and Mom are absolutely thrilled,” a source close to the actor, 39, tells PEOPLE. “Everyone’s happy and healthy.” This is the first child for the couple, who have been married since 2004.

Holloway’s Lost costar Daniel Dae Kim knew the actor would enjoy fatherhood. “He’ll be an incredible dad,” Kim told PEOPLE in February. “When you talk to him about his baby, his face completely lights up.”

A man who pleaded guilty to holding Lost star Josh Holloway hostage was officially sentenced to a minimum of 13 years in prison on Tuesday.

Ruben Royce entered a guilty plea to 34 offenses as part of a plea deal reached with prosecutors in February.

Royce broke into Holloway’s house in October 2005, threatening the actor and his wife with a gun before stealing their wallets and their car.

During sentencing on Tuesday in a Honolulu, Hawaii court, Judge Karl Sakamoto ruled Royce must serve between 13 to 30 years behind bars after chastising him for being responsible for “a tidal wave of crime” that terrorized victims in their own homes.

Royce admitted to three other robberies and in January, he was also convicted of robbery, burglary, firearms violations and reckless endangerment stemming from a fifth incident.

The 23-year old also pleaded guilty to a variety of offences including kidnapping, first-degree robbery, burglary and autotheft.

Earlier this year Royce’s lawyer Terry Marshall stated he was determined to get his client’s sentence reduced as Royce “stepped up, because he is hoping to turn his life around”.

Josh Holloway, star of hit TV series Lost, is in negotiations with 20th Century Fox to play Cajun fan favorite character Gambit in the fourth X-Men instalment. This confirms the mild speculation over whether another sequel to the fourth-highest-grossing movie in 2006 (approx. $234 million US) would be made. A few actors, most notably Halle Berry, have expressed reservations about donning the X-spandex for yet another intense, green-screen-heavy, CGI freak-fest. But with the success of the Spider-Man movies currently Hollywoods No. 1 cash cow with an iron-clad contract guaranteeing at least three more Spidey sequels its no surprise the X-Men franchise is still being expanded.

Josh Holloway expressed nothing but excitement at the prospect of bringing the kinetic Casanova to the silver screen, exclaiming, “I would love to play a superhero. I’d love to wear a cape and tights! We had a meeting and they wanted me to play Gambit, the card dealer character, they thought Id be perfect for the part.”
