This could get awkward!

Jordin Sparks recently confessed that she’s had a secret crush on Chris Brown ever since they shot that sizzlingly passionate video for their hit “No Air.”

Well, we hate to break it to you, Jordin, but you’re on a one-way street.

Chris told OK! that as far as he’s concerned the flying sparks were strictly for the cameras.

“I heard that [she has a crush on me],” said Chris at the 5th annual Fashion Rocks show in NYC on September 5th.

“But when we did that video, I didn’t feel that chemistry. I didn’t feel that. When they yell action, you have to put on a certain performance, but as far as off-camera: there’s no connection.”

So since Chris is definitely not going out with his non-girlfriend Rihanna, would he ever consider a relationship with Jordin?

Russell Brand was forced to apologize for poking fun at the Jonas Brothers’ morals during Sunday night’s MTV Video Music Awards – after a public dressing down from singer Jordin Sparks.

The British comedian mocked the pop sensations mercilessly for more than half the show for their no-sex-before-marriage promise and the purity rings they wear.

At one point, he even pretended he’d stolen a Jonas brothers’ virginity as he held a ring in his hand.

Sparks, who is among the teen stars putting purity before sex, admonished Brand for his remarks, stating, “It’s not bad to wear a promise ring because not everybody, guy or girl, wants to be a slut.”

Minutes later, a crestfallen Brand apologised, saying, “I’ve gotta say sorry because I said those things about promise rings; that was bad of me. I didn’t mean to take it lightly.”

Brand added, “I love Jonas Brothers, I think it’s (purity) really good. I don’t want to piss off teenage fans… Promise rings, I’m well up for it, well done everyone.”

But he couldn’t resist a final jab, adding, “It’s just, a bit of sex occasionally never hurt anybody.”

Jordin Sparks wants to record a song with Leona Lewis – despite losing out in their chart battle.

Sparks’ track No Air was kept off the top spot in the U.S. by Lewis’ Bleeding Love.

But she has no ill feelings over the defeat – and insists she would love to team up for a duet with Lewis.

Sparks says, “I met Leona right after she won The X Factor. We were recording in the same studio in the States and we got to hang out. It was cool because we both understood what the other one was going through and so shared a bond. I’m really proud and happy for her – even though Bleeding Love kept No Air off the No 1 spot back home. I haven’t seen her for a couple of months but maybe we could do something together one day. There are a lot of people I’d love to work with and she’d be one.”

Jordin Sparks was surprised to win the TV talent contest – because she was distracted by judge Simon Cowell’s good looks.

The singer won the reality TV show last year and has since dominated the international charts with her hit No Air.
But the 18-year-old was shocked to win the contest – because Cowell made her go weak at the knees.

She says, “I did have a crush on Simon before going on the show. He doesn’t care about hurting people’s feelings and doesn’t hold back with that he says. For some reason, that’s so attractive.”

Former American Idol winner Jordin Sparks has offered words of advice to the U.S. hit show’s newly crowned champion David Cook – telling him to get as much sleep as possible.

The singer congratulated triumphant contestant Cook, who scored a landslide victory over fellow finalist David Achuata at Wednesday’s series finale – achieving 12 million more votes than the 17-year-old hopeful.

But Sparks, who performed her hit No Air Round at the finale, says rocker Cook better be prepared for a hectic schedule, insisting she hasn’t had a decent night’s rest since she won the show last year.

She says, “Sleep as much as you can because you don’t get any sleep. It’s a year later and I still haven’t gotten a whole eight hours of sleep yet … I’m still reeling from winning last year.”

And when asked by People magazine who she wanted to be crowned as the winner of this year’s hit U.S. talent show, Sparks remained diplomatic, claiming she had voted for both finalists.

She says, “I voted for both of them last night so I can’t really say I had a favorite. I got to meet both of them and they were so sweet! Both of them are going to be fine. I’m so proud of both of them.”
