Don’t count Jon Gosselin out of the picture just yet.

Reports of his saying he’s ready to withdraw from TLC’s Jon & Kate Plus 8 are not only premature – they just aren’t true.

“I never said that,” Jon told People while speaking outside his house on Wednesday. “A fan asked me, ‘Don’t you sometimes wish you could go back to a 9-to-5 job?’ [And my reply was,] ‘Yeah, because this is 24/7 and 9-to-5ers punch in and punch out and you have no responsibilities.’ ”

Pointing to the paparazzi collected outside his family home, Gosselin said, “Here … you have to watch what you say so it doesn’t contradict something else.”

He believes the story was the result of someone having “overheard something that was nothing.”

Clearing up other misinformation, Gosselin said, “And the other one was that the kids didn’t want to film anymore. No, they just didn’t want to film that day.”

That’s easily explained, too. “It’s 96 degrees outside and they just said they wanted to go in the pool. So guess what? They took their clothes off, put their swimsuits on and jumped in the pool … I just looked at my producer and said, ‘What are you going to do?’ ”

As for his literal fashion statement – being photographed in a T-shirt bearing the message, “Lies, Lies” – Gosselin says: “I just thought it was funny, because people can write anything about me … How can you write something about me or say something about me without actually asking me?”

Sparks were flying as Jon Gosselin chatted with a clubgoer — pictured here — who was just one of the many women he partied with at Shrine nightclub in the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Conn., on Aug. 18. With his girlfriend, Hailey Glassman, nowhere in sight, Jon made sure there was a steady flow of women and booze at his VIP table all night. Life & Style witnessed Jon in action: “Jon showed up at Shrine, where he ordered bottles of Grey Goose vodka. He only allowed girls over to his table the whole night, and there were a lot of them.” Jon took a break from his typical jeans-and-T-shirt look, opting for a black sports jacket, button-down shirt and slicked-back hair. He gladly signed autographs but refused to pose for pictures. The witness overheard him saying he was there with Hailey’s uncle and a bodyguard. “It’s a very sexy, dark kind of nightclub after 11 o’clock. It’s Asian-themed, so there’s a lot red and couches everywhere. He had a blast,” says the eyewitness. Jon stayed until last call at 1 a.m., when the club closed.

Despite rumors to the contrary — fueled by a free trip to St.-Tropez for Jon Gosselin and his girlfriend Hailey Glassman — Ed Hardy designer Christian Audigier is definitely not going into business with the reality dad.
“I never said I was going to do a line with Jon Gosselin. I don’t want to do a line with Jon Gosselin,” he tells E! News.

And why would he? Audigier said he’s never worked with a celebrity on a clothing line, and if he was ever going to, it would’ve been with Michael Jackson.

“I invited him to my birthday,” Audigier says of Jackson. “And he showed up. It was his last public appearance. He was testing [the public mood about him] at my party. So we became friends. He told me one day he would like to collaborate with me on a collection.”

Jon Gosselin was excited to start a new chapter in his life following the June 22 announcement that he’d separated from his wife of 10 years, Kate Gosselin. And life has changed in one major way since then: He’s become a notorious ladies’ man. In an exclusive tell-all interview, former lover, Kate Major, opened up to Life & Style about her brief affair with the father of twins and sextuplets. “He was a great kisser,” she says. “It was amazing. I said, ‘I’ve never felt like this about anybody else in my life,’ and he said, ‘Me too.’”

Sparks first flew when the reporter was sent to Wernersville, Pa., on July 17 to cover the breakdown of Jon’s marriage. That was followed by whirlwind trips to New Jersey, NYC and New York’s Hamptons that included three sexual encounters. But by July 29, playboy Jon had brought the budding relationship to a screeching halt, denied it ever happened and gone back to Hailey. Kate explains to Life & Style how Jon managed to seduce her — and why she no longer sees him as a catch. “I’m deeply upset by the turn of events,” she says. “He totally screwed me over and acted like a dirtbag.”

ON INVITING HER OVER — WHILE THE KIDS WERE ASLEEP:

“Jon said he couldn’t be seen having a girlfriend, so he told me to drive to a neighbor’s house after midnight, when the kids were asleep. He said he’d pick me up on his four-wheeler, take me to his house and drop me off again at 6 a.m. I was shocked and said, ‘No, I don’t feel right doing that. What if the kids wake up?’ He was like, ‘They’re not going to notice, they’re not going to see anything.’ He wasn’t nervous about it —I was. Looking back, it was all pretty much sexual. That’s what he had in mind.”

ON JON BREAKING UP WITH HER OVER TEXT MESSAGE:

“Jon told me he needed to go to Massachusetts to meet Hailey and break up with her. Right when he left on July 23, he shut his phone off — and also shut himself off. Once he finally called me, I didn’t know the new person. He sounded upset and said he needed to be single right now. Then he sent me a message saying, ‘Do not contact me again.’”

ON THE FIRST TIME THEY SLEPT TOGETHER:

“Jon never wanted to use his credit card — he was worried that he’d get caught or spotted. On July 20, we went to a hotel in New Jersey. I paid for the room, and he snuck up a back way. That was the first time we slept together. He said he was falling in love with me. He said, ‘I thought Hailey was perfect until I met you.’”

ON JON’S LIES:

“Looking back on it now, he was stringing me along. Even when we were in the Hamptons, we were planning to go to LA together to meet with Christian Audigier about Ed Hardy stuff. We also talked about going to Las Vegas. Now he’s taking Hailey — and that was a trip we had planned together.”

Maybe Jon can’t talk smack about the hand that feeds, but that doesn’t mean his girlfriend can’t!

Jon Gosselin’s girlfriend Hailey Glassman is slamming TLC, claiming the network forced Jon and Kate to cover up their crumbling marriage.

In an interview Monday with Kate who? E! News, Glassman — the 22-year-old daughter of the surgeon who performed Kate’s 2006 tummy tuck — dubbed TLC “the lying channel.”

She added that the network didn’t allow Jon and Kate “to come out and say their marriage was done a year ago.

She said she can speak freely on the situation because “no network owns what I can and cannot say.”

She added, “People need to realize there’s two sides to every story… TLC, they’re telling something, but the truth is always in that fuzzy area. You can’t touch it, but only the people contracted can see it, but no one can say it.”

Glassman also claimed that Jon is not having a fling with nanny Stephanie Santoro – despite over-night sleepovers.

“Jon has a good heart, she has a child and he felt bad,” she said. “He knows how it feels to have a child and not be able to afford, you know, so he hired her to give her a job.”

As for her future with Jon, Glassman said, “I don’t like to talk in the future. I like to live in the present. As of right now, I want to be happy. I want Jon to be happy. I want every side to be happy.”

Jon Gosselin says police made Kate leave their $1.1 million Pennsylvania home Thursday night after a heated argument.

“She tried to come home yesterday, and I wouldn’t let her in the gate, and I guess she called the police,” Gosselin tells Splash News. “The police came and said it was a civil matter.”

“An officer pulled me aside and I said, ‘This has never happened before and I’m just trying to spend time with my kids and she’s [Kate] gonna have to leave,’” he says.

Jon says Kate “tried to ‘cry it up’ with the cops and it didn’t work and they said, ‘You have to leave.’

“It was a miscommunication. Kate said she was coming home, and I said, ‘Well, it’s my time to spend with the kids,’” Jon goes on. “I don’t come home when she’s with the kids, and vice versa — and that’s how it’s supposed to be.”

What sparked the fight?

Jon says he called babysitter Stephanie Santoro — a 23-year-old single mother and aspiring model who has stayed overnight and partied with Jon — to watch the kids while he was filming Jon & Kate Plus 8.

“I guess she didn’t agree with my babysitting,” Jon says of Kate, adding that it was the first time he’d seen his ex wife for “a long time” (they announced they were separating in June).

When asked why Kate was upset about Santoro (who also works as a “shooter girl” selling shots at local club Legends), Jon says, “I have no idea. I guess ’cause she didn’t have approval.”

Jon says he’ll only approve of Kate’s babysitters “if she’ll approve mine.”

No one was arrested during Thursday’s fight and no citations were issued.

A teary-eyed Kate immediately checked in to a local Days Inn.

Earlier the same day day, a Live! With Regis and Kelly interview aired, during which Kate said her marriage to Jon could never be saved.

“You know, we definitely have different goals at this point,” she said. “A lot has changed, a lot of unexpected things have came up.”
