Johnny Depp always seemed like the kind of Hollywood bad boy who would never settle down — until he met French model, singer and actress Vanessa Paradis nearly 10 years ago. “For all intents and purposes, we are married,” Johnny, 44, has gushed. “If she ever said, ‘Hey, let’s get hitched,’ I would do it in a second.”
That time has finally come. “Vanessa recently told Johnny that she would love to have a wedding,” reveals a family insider. “Johnny loves Vanessa very much, and he said if that’s what would make her happy, then he’d marry her.”

Johnny Depp has been offered a whopping $10 million to become the face for American condom giant Trojan.
According to sources, Trojan bosses believe the actor, who is an advocate of safe sex, would considerably boost sales of their Magnum range, and help inspire an anti-AIDS campaign to send free condoms to less economically developed countries.
Although Depp has yet to make a formal decision about the offer, safe sex campaigners have already expressed their approval of Trojan’s choice. A spokeswoman for California’s Safer Sex Awareness Campaign says, “We’d welcome seeing a major Hollywood star helping to promote the cause. And there’s no one bigger than Johnny.”

Kind-hearted Hollywood actor Johnny Depp has vowed to help a British girl who is fighting for her life after spending five months in a coma.
The parents of 17-year-old Sophie Wilkinson from Southampton, England, who was critically injured in a car crash last year, wrote to the Pirates of the Caribbean star as he is their daughter’s favorite actor - and Depp was so moved by their plight he resolved to help.
Depp has agreed to record a voice message for the teenager which will be played to her in the hope it will help bring her out of the life-threatening coma. He also agreed to try to visit the stricken teen at Southampton General Hospital. And Sophie’s father Andrew was delighted the star offered to give up his time to help.
He says, “We are looking for the key to wake her up, so we wrote to Johnny and he said he would do the recording in the voice of (his Pirates of the Caribbean character) Jack Sparrow. “Only this week Sophie moved her right leg, which she has never done before. When we got home my wife and I were jumping for joy!”

Johnny Depp has delighted David Hasselhoff by presenting him with the barbers chair used in his movie Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street.
The former Baywatch star was stunned by Depp’s kind gesture after the Pirates Of The Caribbean star learned of Hasselhoff’s battle to get his antique barber’s chair back from his ex Pamela Bach’s Los Angeles home.
The pair has been locked in a bitter dispute over their divorce settlement for some time - with Hasselhoff trying to regain access to the former family home ever since to take back his beloved chair. However Hasselhoff is no longer bothered about getting his original chair back - he’s more than happy with Depp’s movie prop.
His lawyer, Melvin S. Goldsman, says, “David is just so pleased to have the matter behind him.”

Johnny Depp is reportedly going to replace Heath Ledger in what was to be his last film role. Heath Ledger was just six weeks away from finishing the fantasy flick, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.
The film’s director, Terry Gilliam wants Johnny Depp to film the remaining scenes.
An insider to the movie says, “There is a point in the film when Heath falls through a magic mirror. He could easily change appearance. It would be a poignant moment.”
“Johnny’s not working at the moment so everyone is praying he will do it.”
I’m sure Johnny would do a great job, if he decides to take the role. We’ll let you know what happens with this.

With Johnny Depp having starred in six recent films directed by Tim Burton, who is married to Helena Bonham Carter, she could be forgiven for complaining that her husband spends more time with his favourite actor than he does with her. Indeed, the 41-year-old actress admits that she had to turn to Depp to influence her husband on the set of Sweeney Todd, which Burton directs and in which she co-stars.
“I learnt to always take an idea to Johnny first, then he’d mention it to Tim, and suddenly he was all over the idea,” she told Mandrake at the film’s premiere at the Odeon Leicester Square. Burton, 49, with whom Helena has recently had her second child, “ganged up on me all the time”, she adds. “Johnny wasn’t so bad, he’d take my advice.”
If Depp has his way, he will soon be spending even more time with her husband. The 44-year-old actor says he would make a superb lead in Burton’s forthcoming new version of Alice in Wonderland. “I’d like to have a go at it, if Tim lets me,” he told me. “I could be the first male Alice. It would certainly give it a surreal edge.”

If anyone could do it, it’d be Johnny.
