Everyone is talking about who will replace Charlie Sheen on ‘Two And A Half Men’.

John Stamos is a front-runner to replace Sheen on the CBS sitcom, but Stamos totally dumped the idea of replacing him this morning on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show.

“I don’t want to replace anyone, especially Charlie Sheen,” said Stamos. “It’s just not where my head is at.”

But that’s not to say the actor doesn’t appreciate being thrown in the mix of possible contenders.

“It’s all been very flattering,” he admitted. “But nobody has officially talked to me and, quite frankly, as flattering as it is, it’s really not part of my career plan right now. I’m just on a different trajectory.”

Plus, if Stamos had his way about it, nobody would take over for Sheen.

“Charlie is great on that show and people love Charlie on that show and people love the way the show is,” he said. “So, in the big scheme of things, apparently there’s a lawsuit going on, so I don’t know, but I hope it works out and I hope he goes back and people get the show that they love.”

While Charlie Sheen was on a press tour this weekend, CBS’ top boss man was on a quest to save Two and a Half Men. According to E!:

I just got word that Les Moonves had a nice chat with John Stamos on Saturday about replacing Sheen on the hit sitcom.

Sources exclusively tell me that Moonves approached Stamos at Jeffrey Katzenberg’s Night Before benefit at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

“They were at the bar talking and Les asked John if he’d be interested in replacing Charlie,” one source says. “It wouldn’t be to play Charlie’s character but they talked more about introducing a new character.”

There were rumors early last week that Stamos was in talks to take over for Sheen, but Stamos tweeted on Friday, “Contrary to the rumors, I am not replacing Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men. however, Martin Sheen has asked me to be his son.”

I’m told the conversation between the Moonves and Stamos lasted for about 15 minutes. It’s unclear if more formal conversations are set to take place, but a source reports that Moonves’ talk-show cohost wife Julie Chen and Paramount Pictures CEO Brad Grey piped in, too. “They were all for it,” the source said. “They were saying how they think it could definitely work.”

Reps for CBS and Stamos did not immediately comment.

Tonight’s Glee pays homage to The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and no one’s more excited about it than John Stamos. He just Tweeted this picture, from the set of tonight’s episode!

In a Glee-appropriate touch, cast members from the original 1975 film, Barry Bostwick and Meat Loaf, make cameo appearances in tonight’s episode as the ultraconservative managers of a local TV station.

John Stamos reprises his recurring Glee role as Dr. Carl – he’s not a doctor, technically, but a dentist – who’s determined to win over guidance counsellor Emma Pillsbury (Jayma Mays), even if it means humiliating himself in a high-school musical to do it.

In tonight’s outing, Dr. Carl is expected to burst through a wall on a motorcycle and belt out Meat Loaf’s Whatever Happened to Saturday Night.

Finn’s look started out “pretty bland, like the nerdy character Brad is,” says costume designer Lou Eyrich. But once Cory Monteith put on the black-rimmed glasses and got a side part in his hair, he transformed. “Cory’s just a big goofy nerd and so is Brad,” says Colfer. “He was perfect.”

When Puck drops out of the production, John Stamos’ Dr. Carl fills in — crashing his motorcycle through a stage wall. Since it’s difficult to imagine hunky John mimicking a role played in the film by Meat Loaf, Carl does “his own sexy version of Eddie to intimidate Will [Matthew Morrison],” says Eyrich. “It was actually John’s idea to do a take-off on Elvis’ leather-suit look from his 1968 TV special.”

“Here, Quinn [Dianna Agron] is one of the partygoers for our big ‘Time Warp’ dance scene,” says Eyrich. “When the hairstylists told us they wanted to give Dianna a pink wig, we gave her a pink top and glittery hat. To make it more youthful, we used a high-waisted pant from H&M and a gold cummerbund.” Quinn does double duty in the production, joining Santana (Naya Rivera) as dual versions of kinky-wigged domestic Magenta.

“At first, Sam [Chord Overstreet] is wearing tiny little gold shorts, but then they decide that’s maybe not appropriate for a school play, so he ends up in these gold board shorts and tank top,” explains Eyrich. Overstreet was shocked when he saw what little he’d be wearing. “He was a really good sport but hit the gym extra hard,” adds Eyrich. But Colfer has no sympathy: “Ha! “Riff Raff is the best character, and everyone was amazed at how incredible the makeup was,” says Colfer. “I was mistaken for a blonde woman a couple times. All I kept thinking was, ‘You did this to yourself, Chris.’”

Ok, well that’s not actually Britney Spears, it’s Brittany (played by Heather Morris) performing as Britney Spears. She’s a dead ringer for the singer!

John Stamos just Twittered this shot from the set of the show, showing him being straddled by Heather Morris in Brit’s famous nude “Toxic” bodysuit, along with the message “”not the real @britneyspears, but an incredible simulation.”

The pic is a sneak peek of tonight’s “Britney/Brittany” episode — where Stamos makes his debut and Ms. Spears herself will make a cameo..

“People that love this show or even like this show, they’re going to love this episode,” John Stamos said in an interview posted online. “I don’t feel like Britney stole my thunder … maybe a little. Well, it’s her show. [The episode is] called ‘Britney/Brittany.’ ”

So how does Stamos fit in in tonight’s episode? He’s the dentist that puts Brittany and Santana under anesthesia that prompts a drug-fueled trip through Britney Spears land. (Britney Spears will most likely make her cameo in one of these dream sequences.)

The cast will be performing Toxic, Stronger and Me Against the Music – among other songs.

John says last Thursday’s guilty verdict, in which a Michigan couple was convicted of trying to blackmail him, doesn’t erase the sadness of the situation. “To be honest with you, nobody won,” John says. “It wasn’t like I was jumping up and down. It was a tragedy, you know? I mean, I went into it because the government asked me to be a witness. I wasn’t on trial. I got caught up in some bizarre trip that happened six years ago… I [was] doing what was asked of me. There was a federal crime and I got subpoenaed and I said, ‘Damn right, I’m gonna go. I’m gonna fight for the truth!’”

So was he nervous? “Never for one minute, I wasn’t scared …Even when they were preparing me for the witness stand, I said, ‘I’m just gonna go up there and tell the truth’ because…I mean they barely even prepped me! They said, ‘Just tell what you know. Tell what happened.’ So, when I got in the courtroom and there’s hundreds of people, and all of a sudden, this woman who I’ve never seen before in my life, this Sarah Henderson, gets up and starts spewing maybe the most hateful stuff that’s ever been said about me in my life, my heart just sunk into my stomach like, ‘Oh my god!’ And then when I found out that they were allowed to print these lies, like this Associated Press guy was feverously, you know, writing everything. I mean, literally I went home from the hotel and every muscle and bone and fiber of my body was sick.”

John says the hardest part of the whole experience was the attack on his character. “I’ve worked so hard my whole life, especially my last 27 years in the business, and it’s important to me to be a stand up guy, you know? Because that’s how my father was, and that’s the way he taught me. And in a matter of 20 minutes, in an opening statement, to have all that ripped away from you, is just absolutely…heartbreaking is the only word I could use. So, do I feel vindicated? I guess. I just wish none of it would have happened. Clearly, those kids didn’t win. The justice system proved right, but this costs millions of dollars, and the town of Marquette didn’t win.”

Still, the man we once knew as Uncle Jesse says he’s so grateful for the fans’ unwavering support—including those who showed up outside the courthouse to cheer him on. “The support was beautiful. It’s so nice to see that people are on my side, you know?”

Allison Coss and Scott Sippola have been convicted in the extortion plot against John Stamos earlier today. The jury issued a guilty verdict for the plot for the couple to get $680,000 out of the actor.

People reports:

Allison Coss and Scott Sippola allegedly told Stamos, 46, they had photos of him with cocaine and strippers and would sell them to the tabloids. Federal prosecutors said they never had the compromising pictures.

The couple were convicted of conspiracy and using e-mail to threaten a person’s reputation. The charge carries a sentence of up to five years in prison.

I guess that’s a load off of his shoulders….hmmm?
