Jessica and John vacationing in Australia. 

Jessica Simpson and John Mayer spotted walking hand in hand in Rome, Italy this afternoon where they are on currently vacationing together. The couple arrived at the Leonardo da Vinci Airport this morning and were then driven by van to their hotel in the center of town. Later on, Mayer and Simpson lingered over a romantic lunch at famed restaurant, Dal Bolognese,” for more than two hours, before doing some sightseeing on foot.

He is just getting uglier…I think he’s borderline gross looking.

Seriously, who’s hotter… John or Edward? I’m going with Edward.  All John’s missing in this transformation is a couple scars…that’s about it.

Ryan Seacrest literally dragged John Mayer in front of the camera, pulling the multiple-nominee away from another interview. “You’re the Anderson Cooper of E!,” Mayer joked with Seacrest. After answering two short questions, Seacrest released Mayer – then nabbed him again for a more in-depth chat. After discussing his music, Seacrest asked the question on everybody’s mind: What’s the scoop with Jessica Simpson? Mayer, ever the funnyman, answered in what sounded like Japanese and then suggested: “Find a Japanese person and decode it. Subtitle it. Then you’ll have your answer.” Seeming self-satisfied, Mayer told an amused Seacrest, “I’m very happy with what I just did to you,” before walking off.

Turns out John Mayer really can speak Japanese – and the translation is in! “She’s a wonderful woman and I’m very glad to be with her,” a bilingual Mayer teased Seacrest.
