He flew to Miami on April 23 and checked into the Four Seasons hotel, but insiders say that he spent virtually no time there during his visit — opting instead to hang out in the $3,000-a-night presidential suite at the Mandarin Oriental, where Jen has been staying while shooting the movie Marley & Me. And the two were inseparable over the long weekend. When asked how he was doing, after spending four days with his new love, John smiled. “My weekend was good,” he told In Touch exclusively.

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer lunched together at Michael’s restaurant in Miami, Florida Friday.

The actress and the singer then met up for dinner at Casa Tua on South Beach.

Their lunch “definitely seemed like a date,” a witness told Usmagazine.com.

“He had a sandwich,” the onlooker said. “She stole some bites and nibbled on a salad.”

Cameron Diaz got some friendly support from her exes Justin Timberlake and John Mayer as her family held a memorial service for her late father Sunday.

Emilio Diaz, 58, died of pneumonia Tuesday morning. On Wednesday, Cameron, 35, thanked everyone for their condolences in a message that read: “His humor and spirit will always live on in our hearts.”

And in keeping with that exuberant Diaz family spirit, guests arrived at the memorial service at Mahe in Seal Beach in non-traditional garb. “Most people started arriving at 1:30 and hardly no one wore black,” says a source.”Lots of people were wearing Hawaiian shirts. It looked more like a party.”

Timberlake and Mayer arrived separately and stayed until most people started leaving around 4 p.m. – after Cameron had spoken a few words to the group.

John Mayer’s New Year’s Eve kiss with celebrity blogger Perez Hilton has done nothing to dent the rocker’s stud status – he has topped a new Hot Bachelors poll.
Hilton recently revealed all about the “five minute” smooch with Mayer at a New York party, claiming the rocker’s then-girlfriend stroked his crotch while he kissed the gay blogger.

Mayer’s publicist has called Hilton’s claims “ridiculous” but the blogger recently passed a lie detector test in the hope of proving his story was factual.

But, despite the kiss-and-tell saga, Mayer has still beaten Sex & The City hunk Jason Lewis, who has been single since splitting from Rosario Dawson, to the top of the In Touch magazine hot list.

Yep, Perez Hilton and John Mayer kissed.

To prove that he and the singer kissed, he took a lie detector test with an examiner from Fox’s hit show The Moment of Truth.

He invited Usmagazine.com to tape the exam.

Hilton was asked a series of questions after he declared on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM show Thursday that Mayer kissed him “on the mouth with tongue.”

He also said Mayer’s girlfriend at the time, Jessica Simpson, was “rubbing [Mayer's] crotch” during the kiss.

In response to a New York Post gossip item that the Grammy winner, 30, is “so self-obsessed, he Googles himself every morning, and has been known to respond to online rumors just to clear the air,”

Mayer writes on his blog Monday morning: “This is, quite simply, untrue. – John.”
