A couple of Australian hosts pushed Joel Madden’s last nerve during an interview Monday, and he reportedly walked out mid-interview while on FOX FM in Melbourne. Madden sent out an angry tweet through his Twitter account, “Just walked out of a FOXfm interview in Melbourne not in the mood to be a clown.”

Joel Madden and Nicole Richie deliberately gave their baby son Sparrow an unusual name – to toughen him up at school. The couple welcomed their second child Sparrow James Midnight Madden in September.

Madden has revealed the name was inspired by legendary Johnny Cash song A Boy Named Sue, which recounts the difficulties facing a man who is given a woman’s name.

The Good Charlotte star admits Sparrow is likely to get picked on at school because of his strange moniker – but he’s convinced the experience will be character-building.

He tells Britain’s OK! Magazine, “It reminded me of the Johnny Cash song A Boy Named Sue. My worry raising a son in Hollywood is, what will he have to struggle for? I wanted to give him a name that he’s going to have to stand up for. I love it.”

The couple is also parents to daughter Harlow Winter Madden, 21 months.

Joel Madden took to the Good Charlotte website to announce that no, he did not marry Nicole Richie, the mother of his two children, as was reported earlier this week.

i keep getting emails from old friends and family asking about a wedding. NO we didn’t get married.

But he will marry her, he tells Ryan Seacrest.

“Obviously, marriage is in our future,” Madden told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show. “I don’t know when or where or how, but right now our priority is our family and is the baby.”

The singer added: “That’s all we’ve been thinking about. We are in love and are really happy.”

Nic, who hasn’t officially announced her due date or her plans to find out the gender of kid No. 2, is looking large and in charge with a “high” baby bump, a fellow patron of the hotel tells us. “She must have a little over a month left.”

Supposedly N.R.’s BF and his male companion were chatting the whole time, while an unusually silent Nicole played on her phone. “Even Joel seemed to look a bit concerned about how worn-out she was.” By the way, the word wedding was dropped at the meal.

Joel Madden was left fuming during a weekend visit to a farmers’ market in Los Angeles, when a fellow shopper insulted his one-year-old daughter by comparing her to a dog.
He explains on his Twitter.com blog, “Harlow and I went to the farmers’ market today… We had fun. Best part? Watching this lady freak out. I’ll explain.
“They wouldn’t let her dog run around. They said it was a health violation. She then looks at Harlow and other little kids around and says…. ‘Look at these kids! They’re more of a health violation than my dog!’ And I said, ‘Lady, I’ll drop kick that lil’ mutt if you don’t shut it.’”
