Tonight is the MTV Movie Awards, and I’m sitting here in my hotel getting ready to go cover the red-carpet! I’ve put a Twitter badge to the right – so you can follow me – and get exclusive pictures!

So last night we started our night by going to a VIP party at the House of Campari. It was an art event, that I was graciously invited to by Claire Glenedel (thank you!). There was some really amazing art to look at, as well as a whole bunch of weird stuff I can’t even begin to describe. Coolest part of that party, was Vera Wang was also there. I kept running into her, but I never did work up the nerve to say hello – I’m too big of a chicken! I should probably get over that before I go to the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday. Maybe I should have a few drinks first?
After that, we headed to the Bigfoot Lounge, and that was fun!! The drinks weren’t very expensive (cheaper than Portland!), and they were tasty! After that – we sorta got a bit lost, well, a lot lost…the freeways here are confusing! We ended up at some dive bar a couple miles from our hotel, and closed the place down.
We slept in until 10:45 – and now we’re dressed and ready to head out and see more sights. I’ll twitter more later!

I’m here in LA, and sitting in my hotel room after a short flight – and a long drive (traffic) to the hotel. We just grabbed a bite to eat, and now we’re planning our next move. Probably going to head out in a minute and see some sights…not sure where we’ll end up!

So I’m sitting here – working, working, working. But I’ve also got a bag of Easter candy sitting here, and I’ve been eating these stupid cinnamon bunnies. You know the ones? They are so good! I start with the ears, then bite off the heads, then the body. There’s a very specific way I have to eat these cinnamon treats. But I’m thinking it’s time to get rid of all the ol’ candy. I’ve got all the usual Easter basket treats, and if I don’t throw them away, I’m going to sit here and bite all their little heads off. My kids will hate me for tossing it – better do it before they get home from school.
PS: Do you listen to Pandora? I’m listening to it now, and I’m in love. If you don’t know what Pandora is, then go check it out! My current station: Billy Joel. Gotta love it! Okay, back to work…
Seems like every single website I visit today is talking about Swine Flu – and everyone is really freaked out about it! My kids & hubby being sick this last weekend has half my family convinced we all have it. Had two very interesting conversations with my mom today – reminding me of the symptoms. Yes, it’s scary – and as parents we have a responsibility to be aware and alert. But I’m not pulling-my-kids-out-of-school paranoid yet. How about you?
