If you’re looking for the Britney rehab pictures, I’ve decided to take them down.  I’ve been having a sort of moral dilemma with having her rehab pictures up… and I decided to just take them down. 

I know her stay in rehab only lasted less than 24 hours, but I still don’t think it’s our place to show pictures of her in rehab.  It’s like kicking a person when they’re down… and I felt bad. (I know, you may be shocked)

The pictures are ALL OVER the internet, and if you really want to see them – there are many other sites where you can go view them.

I feel really bad for Britney, for her family, for her little boys…and I felt bad all morning about posting her rehab pics.  So I’ve taken them down!

My trip was awesome… but not long enough.

The weather was amazing…for Oregon.  The rain held out until today, which was nice.  It was so beautiful, we had a really great time.

But I missed posting!  So I’m back to posting… talk to you soon!

So I’m going away for the weekend!  After grandma passing 2 weeks ago, and the funeral last weekend… I need a break.  I’ve been saying for AGES that I was dying to get to the beach (that pic is of the Oregon coast)…and with everything that’s happened in the last month, we decided no time was better than the present.  So I’m headed out!  There will be Anna Nicole news over the weekend, and later today – so be sure to check out the sites below for an update on all the news.

Okay, so I know something’s going on with the comments on the site.  Some of them are showing up – some of them aren’t.  I don’t know what’s going on.  I’m not deleting your comments (unless your name is Carla…and I totally AM deleting YOUR comments…don’t ask).  I am trying to figure out why the comments are taking so long to appear.  It’s really REALLY annoying, and I’m sorry.

I make it a goal every year around this time to cram in all of the Oscar nominated movies.  I try to see all the movies in the major categories (that look half decent).  For example, I have NO DESIRE to see “The Queen,” I don’t care how great Helen Mirren is. 

Last week I took the afternoon to go watch “Notes on a Scandal” with Kate Blanchett and Judi Dench.  Wow…that movie was AMAZING. I’ve decided that I’ll pretty much watch any movie that Kate Blanchett is in.  She’s an incredible actress.  Kate & Judy were both nominated for their performances – and if they don’t win…I will be completely SHOCKED. 

The movie was so well written that it’s obvious why it’s nominated for it’s screenplay.  It was released with little or no marketing – hell, I didn’t even know the movie EXISTED until it was nominated for 4 Oscars.  If you don’t mind subject matter that’s a bit – intense (to say the least), you should really run out to see this movie.  It was terrific.

BUT THEN…

Today, I decided to go see Will Smith’s Oscar nominated role in “The Pursuit of Happyness.” Let’s just say it’s a good thing I didn’t have a razor in my purse, cause I surely would have done myself in. 

It was PAINFUL to watch, to say the least.  It was one HORRIBLE thing after another.  Sure, Will Smith is a good actor, and yes – he probably deserves his Oscar nomination.  But c’mon, could they have made the movie ANY MORE DEPRESSING!? 

The only reason why I went to see the movie in the first place, was because I knew the ending (it’s a true story) and I thought – I’ll stick through all the “hard stuff” to get to the happy ending.  BUT HELLO the ”hard stuff” took 1 hour 50 minutes! They neglected to put ANY happy stuff in the whole friggin movie!?

I’m not saying it was a BAD movie…I just was praying for the film projector to break so I would have an excuse to leave the theater.  Maybe you guys liked it more than I did…I HATED it. 

I don’t mind depressing movies… I just raved about “Notes on a Scandal” which is VERY DARK.  But Happyness was just too much.  You begin to think it’s all some sick joke God’s playing on Will Smith’s character (I don’t even remember his name).

For most women, the choice between sex and a new wardrobe is simple — they go for the clothes.

Women on average say they would be willing to give up sex for 15 months for a closet full of new apparel, with 2 percent ready to abstain from sex for three years in exchange for new duds, according to a new survey of about 1,000 women in 10 U.S. cities.

Sixty-one percent of women polled said it would be worse to lose their favorite article of clothing than give up sex for a month.

Nearly half of the women, or 48 percent, taking part in the survey by consumer products giant Unilever said their favorite article of clothing was more reliable than their man in giving them confidence and making them feel sexy.

“Some people say clothes make the man, but the right clothes can even replace him,” fashion designer, stylist and TV personality Carson Kressley from the reality TV show “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” said in a statement accompanying the poll.
