I have tried to not post much about this Virginia Tech Tragedy – because I can barely read it myself without getting emotional.  I just got done reading a bio on each of the victims on CNN (go here for that), and to look at the faces of that many victims - is almost too much for me to bear.  They were all so full of life, so innocent and some so young.  It’s a cruel world when your children aren’t even safe in their college classroom.  I found a memorial fund to help with the overwhelming costs of this disaster.  If you are interested in donating, please click on the image below.

If you haven’t seen a preview yet (and I’m not sure how THAT’S possible with how much ABC is promoting it) you can see it here.  It’s on ABC tonight following a s**ty re-cap episode of Grey’s Anatomy.  It’s so friggin annoying!! My DVR said NEW Grey’s Anatomy.  I got all excited!  Then when I checked to see what it was about – it’s a freaking re-cap episode of all the best moments of this season.  Oh who gives a crap!  Just give me a new episode already!!

Anyway – you can watch NFTU tonight at 10:00.  I’m going to watch it, because hell – what DON’T I watch (except Dancing With the Stars, I SO do not get the appeal of that show).  It looks cute, I gotta admit.  Watch it – we’ll discuss it tomorrow.

I had to get the boy’s Easter stuff. If I waited until Saturday they would have ended up with the bottom of the barrell Easter basket fillers.  So I’m back now.  Even though I don’t want to be…it’s beautiful and like 75 outside!!

But I’ll get back to posting.   PS don’t you just love all the cheesy easter stuff that comes out this time of year?  I got this email from Lisa today….hahaha.

Okay, so I’m back.  Spring Break is officially over!  After driving home this morning, I took a 3 hour nap… and here I am.  The trip was amazing.  The weather was beautiful! And the best part of it all? I’ve got a babysitter for tonight, so I’m kid free after having 3 kids (we brought our nephew on our trip) since Tuesday.  What’s on my agenda tonight??? Margarita’s anyone?

So now I’ll get some posting done.  Thanks for hanging in there all week…

So Spring Break is going great!  I’m totally beat (and it’s only 5:00) but it’s great.  Sunny beaches in Oregon can be hard to come by, but today has been beautiful!  We’re staying in Lincoln City with just about everyone else in the state of Oregon.  It’s VERY crowded.

This morning we left the hotel early, and hit lots of tourist attractions like the Devil’s Punchbowl, and the Newport Beach Lighthouse.  Then we went to the Rogue Brewery (it’s based in Newport) for lunch. Personally, I hate beer (give me a margarita any day)…but my husband had some beer that he said was great.  We ate lunch, then went to the Oregon Coast Aquarium.  I’m not a HUGE fan of Aquariums…so I guess it was okay.  But after the entrance fee, and hitting up the gift store on the way out, it was a $150 trip.  Ouch.

So now I’m back in the hotel room for a few precious moments before the kids make me go swimming again.  We swam last night – and the water was mighty cold.  Oh well.  If I get them nice and tired, then Troy and I will be able to stay up and actually watch a movie or something tonight.  Anyhoo…back on to posting.

This was not my fault! 

I got an email about a week ago, saying that my server (Choopa) was migrating to a new location, and there would be some downtime.  They were only supposed to be down last night and ICYDK was supposed to be up and running at 6:00am this morning.  Well, I was down for HOURS. 

And I was in good company.  DListed, Hollywood Tuna, Egotastic, Derek Hail, I’m Not Obsessed, Celebitchy, Celebslam, The Bastardly, Popoholic, Horny Oyster & the Concrete Loop were all down as well.  Anyone who hosts their site with Choopa has been down since the wee hours last night.

I have been stressing out about it ALL MORNING.  Not only because all of you haven’t been able to get on my site, but because I have paying advertisers.  And if my site is down – I’m losing $$ every hour AND pissing off my advertisers.

I’m sorry for all the down time.  Trust me – I’ve been ripping my hair out all morning.  I’m going to go home and just shave it all off – Britney style.

I don’t even know where to get started – with posts…but I’ll give it a shot.  Thanks guys for all your patience…
