Last night on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” comedian Kathy Griffin joined the late-night host to chat about her autobiography “Official Book Club Selection: A Memoir According to Kathy Griffin” (which she claims is going to “out-sell The Bible”) as well as share a clip of her newest role as “Jon & Kate Plus 8” mother Kate Gosselin.

“It’s like my ‘Malcolm X’,” joked Griffin.

On last night’s Jimmy Kimmel, Kimmel and guest Matthew Fox had a staring contest to see who would claim the title of “Gorgeous Man” and ended up in the shower together.

Did you guys watch the Lost finale? I just finished it a couple minutes ago, and holy crap! The first hour and a half were pretty boring, but man - the last half hour was INTENSE!! So excited to see what they do next season (which is the last season!)

Late night host Jimmy Kimmel and comic Sarah Silverman have called it quits again, a source tells Usmagazine.com.

The couple, who have been dating on-and-off for the last few months, started dating six years ago.

“Sarah initiated the split this time,” the source tells Us. “He’s bummed.”

This breakup happened within the last two weeks.

“He’s really blue — very down,” another source tells Us. “Seems like it’s over for good this time. He’s sad because he just bought a new place and now has nobody to share it with.”

The couple, who first split in July, reunited last fall.

“We’re just being right now,” Silverman told Us in November.

The pair met during a roast for Hugh Hefner, where Silverman told the audience he was fat and joked he had no charisma — but that didn’t stop them from working together.

“He hired me to do voices on [Comedy Central’s] Crank Yankers and around the second season of that we started hanging out,” Silverman has said. “A while after that he kissed me.”

Kimmel separated from his wife Gina in 2002 after 14 years of marriage. Silverman has said she wouldn’t consider getting married until gay marriage is legalized.

Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman are back together.

“They’re taking it slow,” says a source. “They’re on the road back to being together again.”

The comedians, who ended their five-year relationship in July, have recently been spotted on dates on both coasts.

On Sept. 28, Kimmel, 40, and Silverman, 37, enjoyed a laughter-filled dinner together at L.A.’s Pattaya Thai Restaurant, says a source, and left holding hands.

Less than a week later, they attended pal Howard Stern’s Oct. 3 wedding at New York City’s Le Cirque restaurant, where Kimmel was spotted wrapping his arms around Silverman’s waist and playfully grabbing her backside in plain view of photographers. (Pictured above)

Reps for the comedians had no comment.

Silverman thanked her ex from the stage after winning an Emmy last month for her salty music video “I’m F—— Matt Damon,” which first appeared on Kimmel’s late-night talk show before becoming an internet sensation.

“Thanks to the person for whom this whole video was made: Jimmy Kimmel, who broke my heart – ohh, who’ll always have a place in my heart,” she said.

The new season of her show The Sarah Silverman Program premieres on Comedy Central this week.

No joking matter?

Sarah Silverman – who has been silent since her split with Jimmy Kimmel last month – briefly addressed the break-up during her stand-up performance Thursday night.

“Did someone tell you I’m going through a hard time?” Silverman, 37, jokingly told an audience of 300 at West Hollywood’s Largo at the Coronet. (A few sympathetic cries came from the front of the crowd.)

But the edgy comedienne – who famously called Britney Spears’s two sons “adorable mistakes” – quickly moved on and avoided jokes about Kimmel, 40, and relationships in general.

In the 15-minute set, Silverman instead joked about Barack Obama, Kanye West, a 13-year-old relative and a home-taped radio show from a writer on her TV show, The Sarah Silverman Project.

Wearing a green shirt, jeans and her hair in pigtails, Silverman was followed by Jeffrey Ross, who practiced material for Sunday’s Comedy Central Roast of Bob Saget.

Silverman and Kimmel – who were heralded as People’s Funniest Couple Alive this year – dated for five years before their surprise split.

Maybe she really was F’n Matt Damon?

Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman have ended their relationship after five years of dating.

“Jimmy and Sarah have and will have no further comment,” Kimmel’s rep Lewis Kay and Silverman’s rep Amy Zvi confirmed to PEOPLE in a joint statement.

The couple’s over-the-top videos about fictional flings with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck became huge Internet hits since airing on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! in February.

PEOPLE even named the late-night talk-show host and the star of Comedy Central’s The Sarah Silverman Program its Funniest Couple Alive earlier this year.

At the time Silverman, 37, told PEOPLE their relationship worked “because we really, really, really like each other. He’s kind and funny and maybe the most thoughtful person I know.”

“Sarah is funny and smart and good to look at,” said Kimmel, 40. “Plus, she likes fat guys. What more could I ask?”

Kate Walsh raised temperatures on late night TV on Tuesday when she chose to appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live! wearing nothing but a white bathtowel and high heels.

The actress told Kimmel she didn’t like the fit of her designer gown, and so chose to wear linen instead.

Thrilled host Kimmel asked, “Is today my birthday or something?”

The Private Practice star, who wore the towel during her entire interview on the show, said, “I was supposed to wear a fancy, sparkly sequined dress… It was very hot and I was ready to rock it out. The tailor had taken it in… and I looked like a Vegas stripper. For me, it was not right… I wanted to keep it pure and clean… I’m bringing back the towel.”

Walsh showed off the green gown, adding, “Someday I’ll wear it.”
