Jessica Simpson fancies herself as a photographer and plans to release her pictures in a new book complete with individual journal entries.

The 26-year-old has compiled a collection of her favorite snaps with the hope of sharing her photos with the world in the near future. She says, “I know exactly what I was going through when I was taking each picture and I write it all down, so it will be that kind of book.”

Jessica Simpson and John Mayer spotted walking hand in hand in Rome, Italy this afternoon where they are on currently vacationing together. The couple arrived at the Leonardo da Vinci Airport this morning and were then driven by van to their hotel in the center of town. Later on, Mayer and Simpson lingered over a romantic lunch at famed restaurant, Dal Bolognese,” for more than two hours, before doing some sightseeing on foot.

She’s such an amazing actress.  And the premise of the movie… it’s got Oscar written all over it:

A young professional woman (Simpson) unwittingly becomes the pawn of two business executives in their bid to oust the head of a mega-conglomerate.

That wig is so hideous… if there was a strong wind – that thing would be in the sewer.

Jessica Simpson has no intention of getting a nose job like her sister Ashlee because the star loves her bumpy features. Jessica’s bump is smaller than the one her sibling had smoothed out by surgery – but she insists she is proud of it.

The 26-year-old says, “I don’t know if it’s my best, but my favorite feature is my nose. I have a bump on it that I love. It’s an imperfection, but that’s why I love it.”

Wait, is that a slam against plastic-surgery-happy sis Ashlee?
