Jessica Simpson isn’t letting her big baby bump get in the way of her sex life.
In an interview this morning with Ryan Seacrest, the “Fashion Star” judge got into the intimate details of her relationship with fiance Eric Johnson during her pregnancy.
A very pregnant Jessica Simpson makes an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Tuesday, March 13th. Ellen talks with Jessica about her due date, what she is naming her baby and gives her a one-of-a-kind hospital gown and high heel slippers.
Jessica on when she is due…
Ellen: When are you due?
Jessica: I have some weeks.
Ellen: No you don’t.
Jessica: I really do. It’s not like tomorrow.
Ellen: It looks like it’s tomorrow.
Jessica: I had contractions last night and I freaked out a little bit. You know those Braxton Hicks things…
Ellen: What is that?
Jessica: It’s like these contractions that pregnant woman have towards the end. It prepares your body for delivery. I’m prepared. It’s scary. It’s like oh god, this can happen right now.
Ellen: It just gives you a little taste of how much it could hurt
Jessica: It will. It will hurt very badly.
On picking out a baby’s name:
Ellen: Have you picked out the baby’s name yet?
Jessica: I have but we’re not really saying it until the baby is here.
Ellen: Of course, I know people say they have but you can’t really know until you meet the baby.
Jessica: We’ve been calling her by her name.
Ellen: Oh, you have.
Jessica: She reacts to it. I could be one of those physco mom’s that just thinks one little kick… is her really listing to me. She’s really like, shut up.
Ellen: Or they kick once in a while too. You know celebrities have a lot of interesting names and we have the machine that actually helps names babies

“Fashion Star” doesn’t start until next Tuesday — but we’ve got one of the cringe-worthy moments from the season premiere right now.
In a new promo clip from the fashion reality show, one of the contestants has a hard time accepting critique after showing his designs to mentors Jessica Simpson, John Varvatos and Nicole Richie.
As Jessica and Nicole started giving constructive criticism, Aussie designer Nicholas got worked up — shooting himself in the foot by flat out insulting all of the women involved in the show!
Jessica was shocked, saying she was “offended” by his remarks, half-joking “I really want to hit you across the face right now!”
“Fashion Star” premieres Tuesday, March 13 on NBC.

Jessica Simpson has posed nude in a cover very reminiscent of Demi Moore’s famous August 1991 Vanity Fair cover. Jessica, 31, has decided to pose nude for the April cover of Elle Magazine.
In the interview, Jessica reveals the sex of her baby! “She.”
And Simpson and Johnson have already come up with a name for their daughter, too — but nothing too out-there in the vein of “Maple” or “Apple!”
“We’re sure,” of the name, the fashion mogul says. “We’re embroidering it on things. It’s nothing shocking and nothing you’ll have to add to the dictionary. When people hear it, they’ll know why.”
The Fashion Star mentor admits that it was hard to give up alcohol once she became pregnant. “Givin’ up my Scotch? My Macallan 18? That was hard for me! Though now being pregnant, you crave other things. A big thing of water sounds great!”
On hopes for her daughter’s sense of style: “Ah swear, ah will croak if she asks me for a pair of Nikes instead of Christian Louboutins!” she blurts out, her Dallas accent swooping back in this moment of heightened anxiety. “Eric is so athletic. We’re gonna have this ath-a-letic girl and I won’t even be able to take her shopping.”
On taking tabloid brutality in stride: “I’m still standin’,” she drawls. “I grew up very strong! You know, my father used to be an adolescent therapist. I remember sitting at his office, watching the girls walkin’ in and out. Kids doin’ coke at 16…heroin. Pregnant at 14. I could see what I didn’t want to be.”
On her body subconsciously telling her she was pregnant: “We were goin’ to have an all-day drinking binge,” Simpson says, not shy about saying so. “Gonna ride our bikes, hang out…do naughty things. But I started feeling this overwhelming guilt. Why would I feel guilt at the idea of going out and having cocktails with my friends?”

Jessica looks like she could go into labor any minute now.
I wanna place bets on who will deliver first: Jessica or Jennifer Garner.
Jessica Simpson will be stopping by Biggest Loser on March 13 to give one contestant a shopping spree of a lifetime!
The pregnant singer will reward a winner with a visit to her personal showroom. According to NBC, the winner will also be able to bring another contestant with him/her to pick out anything from Simpson’s clothing, handbag and skincare lines.
“I was so happy when I was asked to help style two contestants from The Biggest Loser,” Simpson tells PEOPLE. “I am truly inspired by how hard these contestants worked to accomplish their goals for a healthy lifestyle.”
Continues Simpson: “It was so much fun seeing the [contestants] try on clothes they would have never fit into before and feeling sexy. We had an amazing day together!”
And that’s not it for Simpson.
Her new competition show, Fashion Star, in which she will judge aspiring clothing designers alongside Nicole Richie and John Varvatos, will premiere immediately after her stint that night on The Biggest Loser.
I don’t watch Biggest Loser, but I am totally excited for her new show Fashion Star. I think it looks like it could be a really fun show. I’m so over the singing competition shows. This will be a nice change!
