Is Jessica Simpson’s flick Blonde Ambition too much of a stinker for the silver screen?

“It is going straight to DVD domestically. It will only come out in theaters internationally,” an insider tells Us Weekly.

What’s the problem with the romantic comedy, costarring Luke Wilson, 35?

“The movie is absolutely horrible,” says a source. “It’s just a bomb, mainly because of Jessica’s acting.”

Counter’s Simpson’s rep: “It’s definitely a theatrical release.”

A rep for the movie studio tells Us, “The final distribution plans have not been confirmed, so it would be premature to comment at this time.”

I don’t know about you, but I am shocked by this news.  Haha!

In Major Movie Star, Jessica is an actress that joins the marines in the hopes of shedding her cute image and winning the approval of director that thinks she is unsuitable for his upcoming military-themed movie.

I saw these pictures in a tabloid (Star or US Magazine, but I can’t remember), and the article was about Jessica Simpson’s recent weightloss. But doesn’t it just look like she’s sucking in? Maybe it’s just me, but it totally looks like she’s doing that for the camera. What do you guys think?
