Making the most of the holiday weekend, Jessica Alba was spotted making her way around Beverly Hills, CA on Sunday afternoon (December 26).
Bundled up for the chilly weather, the “Sin City” star was accompanied by husband Cash Warren, daughter Honor and some family members while sitting down for brunch before a bit of post-Christmas shopping.
The family outing comes as Miss Alba’s new movie “Little Fockers” continues to garner the top spot at the holiday weekend box office.
Starring Ben Stiller and Robert DeNiro, the comedy flick earned a leading $14.5 million on Saturday with a total of $48.3 million since being released on Tuesday.

In a new interview with Elle Magazine, Jessica Alba admits she almost quit acting after Fantastic Four. Which would have been the right thing to do, if you ask me. I have never been a Jessica Alba fan. I think she’s gorgeous, but she cannot act worth a dime.
In early November, Jessica made headlines for her controversial interview with Elle Magazine for its December issue, saying “good actors never use [scripts].” This agitated screenwriter John August, provoking him to bash her on his blog. But now the rest of the interview has leaked, and it gets a whole lot worse.
“[The director told me] ‘It looks too real. It looks too painful. Can you be prettier when you cry? Cry pretty, Jessica.’ He was like, ‘Don’t do that thing with your face. Just make it flat. We can CGI the tears in.’”
That questionable bit of direction set Alba to a bad way of thinking. “I’m like, ‘But there’s no connection to a human being.’ And then it all got me thinking: Am I not good enough? Are my instincts and my emotions not good enough? Do people hate them so much that they don’t want me to be a person? Am I not allowed to be a person in my work? And so I just said, ‘F**k it. I don’t care about this business anymore.’”
Alba goes on to state that one reason some of her movies have underperformed at the box office: “First-time directors.”

Jessica Alba says that she had the script for Machete rewritten because it was too sexy for her. She said that she wasn’t comfortable with the raunchiness of the movie and asked the director, Robert Rodriguez to change things up a bit.
She said, “You think this version is sexy? In the original script I played twins, and there was a lot more sex. But I’ve never been very comfortable with that stuff. I get freaked out and nervous, I guess, so I told Robert Rodriguez, ‘This is an awesome movie and I’d love to be part of it, but I don’t feel comfortable doing that’, and he was like, ‘Oh, we’ll rewrite it and we’ll do what you are comfortable with.’”
