The Ewing’s are back at it! This summer will be the relaunch of the famous 1980s TV show Dallas.
Former ‘Desperate Housewives‘ actor Jesse Metcalfe will star as Bobby Ewing’s adopted son Christofer Ewing. Metcalfe says the revamped version of Dallas will have some sexy scenes for the ladies.
He told UK TV show ‘Loose Women’: ”Is there a lot of sex in the show? All the love scenes are very much a part of the story, they’re very much justified.
”A lot of times I get asked that question, you know, ‘Are you going to be taking your top off?’ If it says so in the script, yeah, you know – it’s not my decision.”
The show features cast members Larry Hagman, Patrick Duffy and Linda Gray as members of the iconic Ewing family, who starred in the show when it first became a global phenomenon in the late 70s, as well as new characters played by Jesse and former ‘Desperate Housewives’ co-star Brenda Strong.
He said: ”We’re hoping Dallas is going to be huge and the new cast, the younger generation can bring in a new audience.
”The entire original cast have been warm and welcoming to all of us, especially Larry, Linda and Patrick.
”It’s a really gripping family drama, I hope you think it’s well acted.”
‘Dallas‘ will return to screens later this summer.
I am watching the original Dallas right now on DVD. I have watched 13 season so far and love it! It will be interesting to see how they rework the series.

Jesse Metcalfe was briefly hospitalized after falling from a second-story balcony in Monaco on Sunday, but suffered “no long term damage,” according to his rep.
The Desperate Housewives actor, who was in Monaco to help host the World Music Awards, was sitting on the ledge of a balcony at the famous Jimmy’z club when he toppled backwards and fell 30 to 40 feet, says his London-based rep.
He was rushed to the Grasse hospital nearby where he had an X-ray and brain scan, and was discharged early Monday. He later flew to London where he was admitted to a private hospital and underwent a CAT scan. “Luckily for him it came up a clean bill of health,” says the rep.
Metcalfe has a fractured fibular but “no long term damage” – though he does have some restricted movement in his legs, says his rep. The actor will undergo some physiotherapy.
“To have fallen that distance and not have any major injuries was a miraculous escape,” says the rep. “It was a very scary experience for him and those of us who saw him. It was a nasty fall. He was found face down on the floor … It could easily have been fatal.”
Metcalfe is “shocked and realizes how lucky he has been,” the rep adds. “He is in good spirits and is putting a brace face on it.
Metcalfe, who has spent time in rehab for alcohol problems, had a “couple of glasses of champagne” after working at the award show, adds his rep.

Perez Hilton was left in a panic when actor Jesse Metcalfe threatened to murder him – after he “joked” the actor was gay.
Hilton is openly homosexual and is infamous for making cutting jibes at the expense of unsuspecting celebrities.
However, Hilton was unnerved when Desperate Housewives hunk Metcalfe took speculation over his sexuality seriously.
He says, “That was quite negative energy. He was drunk and said he wanted me dead. I was quite shocked. I’d only joked that he might be gay, what’s the big deal?”
