Yesterday, we told you about how Jenny McCarthy laid into Charlie Sheen over the disclosure of his HIV-positive status. She basically ripped him for not telling her that he was HIV-positive prior to working with him on his show Two And A Half Men.
His lawyer quickly hushed that talk, saying that Charlie wasn’t diagnosed with HIV until long after they worked together on the show. Now, she is expanding on her comments because she was apparently ripped on for thinking that Charlie could’ve spread HIV to her through kissing.
She said in her Twitter message, “The point I raised about Charlie Sheen on my Sirius radio show, had nothing to do with whether or not I think he put me at risk. Yet an actor who interacts physically with dozens of actresses in intimate scenes, is not required to disclose that he has HIV? I am very aware that HIV is not spread through kissing, but I also believe that if an actress has to disclose all of her business before kissing a male costar, that actor should be required to disclose something major as an HIV infection too.”
She added, “His disclosures in his personal life are none of my business, and are for him to reconcile with the people he interacted with privately. I am not one of them.”
