American Idol host Jennifer Lopez has been named the official face of TOUS Jewelry’s Spring Campaign.
The 41-year-old singer and entrepreneur, who was also recently crowned with the title of first-ever global ambassador for Venus razors, had this to say about her new partnership:
“This is my favorite bear. You know, all girls love diamonds.”
Rosa Tous states:
“We are absolutely delighted to have the iconic Jennifer Lopez be the face of TOUS’ Spring campaign.”
Salvador Tous, Honorific President of TOUS, said:
“Jennifer is not just an amazingly beautiful woman, but also a talented actress, musician and dancer sharing with us strong family values as we are a family-owned business.”
Jennifer Lopez melts down after ‘American Idol’ sends one of her favorite contestants home.
In the early episodes of ‘Idol’, contestant Chris Medina shares his heart-breaking story of his fiancée, Juliana, who was in a life-changing car crash prior to their 2009 wedding. Now, Juliana is the victim of brain damage and is confined to a wheel chair, requiring Chris and his mother to give her 24-7 TLC.
Last night (February 23), the show dwindled the group of contestants down from 61 to 24, sending Chris home and leaving Jennifer Lopez sobbing.
“I don’t want to do this anymore,” J-Lo cried as fellow judges Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson comforted her.
During the episode, Jennifer sobs and remains tearful on camera, showing the emotions that come with her job.
Chris — if you’re out there — best of luck to you! You’re a talented young soul!
The guest list for President Barack Obama’s White House Super Bowl party includes entertainers Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony as well as elected leaders from the teams’ home states, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.
A White House spokesman said Thursday that about 100 people have been invited, including White House staff, family and friends and other members of Congress.
The actress is a bit shocked at the invite. She said the following, according to X17 Online:
“I can’t believe it! I don’t know, maybe that’s why I don’t want to talk about it. I don’t even feel like it’s real!”
It’s not really an invite you can turn down, is it. Call me crazy, but that doesn’t sound like the most fun atmosphere for a Super Bowl party!
Jennifer Lopez has been named the first-ever global brand ambassador for Venus razors — and UsMagazine.com has the very first look at a pic from the sensuous new campaign, in which Lopez, 41, flaunts her world-famous legs by the beach.
As part of the Venus partnership — to be announced Wednesday at NYC’s Radio City Music Hall, with Lopez on hand — the star has recorded her own rendition of the classic pop hit “Venus.”
The mom, singer, designer and icon will also help launch the Venus Goddess Fund for Education, which supports female empowerment through education and benefitting organizations like CARE International, the Step Up Women’s Network and Lopez’s own Maribel Foundation.
Lopez’s print and TV ads for Venus will debut this month. Her incredible cover of “Venus” is set to debut on gillettevenus.com on Wednesday.
