Jennifer Lopez will always have a keepsake of the time she was pregnant with twins Max and Emme – she commissioned a photographer to capture her and husband Marc Anthony as expectant parents.

The singer/actress has put together a book of professional photos taken just two weeks before she became a mum for the first time in February. And she loves her look in the pictures: “I felt very womanly. Marc was in a dream. He loved it (shoot).”

And, in a new interview for Elle magazine, Lopez reveals she insisted on a little ‘me’ time after touring with Anthony while pregnant.

She explains, “We came off tour and I said, ‘I did the superwoman thing, I finished the tour – now I need you to take care of me. I love doing things for you; if I’m not cooking, then I’m picking out a shirt. But this is the first time in my life where I’m just going to be a little bit selfish.’ I said, ‘I don’t know if I’m going to have kids again, so I want it to be a beautiful experience. I don’t want to have any drama. I want to just be smiling every day.’”

Jennifer Lopez says she wasn’t worried that she wasn’t able to get pregnant quickly.

“We knew nothing was wrong with either one of us — I had been checked, and [my husband Marc Anthony] had kids already,” she tells the October issue of Elle. “I knew something’s not ready here, in my head or in my life, and when it is, I know it’s going to happen.”

But she says she knew instantly when she was pregnant one day while sitting down for hair and makeup.

“I felt a flutter. The weirdest little … flourish,” she recalls. “My makeup artist said, ‘What’s the matter?’ I didn’t say anything, but in my head, I was like, ‘I have life inside me!’”

Following weeks of speculation, she announced she was expecting during a Miami stop on her El Cantante Tour concert in November 2007.

“While pregnant, we came off tour and I said [to Anthony], ‘I did the superwoman thing, I finished the tour — now I need you to take care of me. I love doing things for you; if I’m not cooking, then I’m picking out a shirt.’

Next up for Lopez: She is competing in her first triathlon, which takes place Sept. 14 in Malibu and benefits Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

“I feel great,” she recently told Good Morning America. “I have more energy – I’m proud of myself.”

Marc Anthony will soon be starring with wife Jennifer Lopez in a federal suit that claims their guard dog attacked a flight attendant on a private jet.

Lopez had been flying solo in the personal injury suit filed last June in Brooklyn Federal Court, but Anthony is being added as a defendant after J.Lo’s lawyer gave him up as the owner of the German shepherd guard dog, Manhattan lawyer William Cafaro said.

“I was told by her counsel that Marc Anthony was the registered owner of the dog,” said Cafaro, who represents flight attendant Lisa Wilson.

“The issue of who actually owns the dog will be determined in the course of the proceedings.”

Wilson wants $5 million in damages from Lopez and her company, Nuyorican Productions. The suit will be amended this week to include Anthony as a defendant.

Anthony and the dog, Floyd, accompanied Lopez on a Gulfstream IV flight from Republic Airport in Farmingdale, L.I., to Burbank, Calif., on July 3, 2006, Cafaro said.

Court papers say Lopez warned Wilson, 40, a flight attendant for NetJets Inc., how to behave around the dog, court papers. An hour into the flight, Floyd lunged at Wilson as she walked past, “attacking her and biting her pant leg,” the suit said.

She fell, suffered a serious back injury and has been unable to work.

Cafaro contends the dog’s owners had a duty to put a muzzle or leash on Floyd, and to warn his client “to stay completely away from the dog.”

Lopez’s lawyer, Marina Spinner, could not be reached for comment.

Jennifer Lopez found inspiration for her post-baby triathlon goal while flicking through the channels on TV while she was pregnant.

The singer/actress was “laid out like a beached whale” when she stumbled across a televised triathlon – and decided that would be a great achievement for a mother of twins.

She tells Self magazine, “I thought, ‘What can I do to make my babies proud?’ I think about what they’ll think about the year they were born: who I was and what I did. It’s important to me to set examples for them. I want to lead with my life. I want to say, ‘You should do this because I’ve done it, and I know it makes you a better person and it makes you feel great and sleep better and be happier.’”

Lopez insists her triathlon goal has really helped her get back into shape after giving birth to babies Emme and Max in February – with the help of longtime trainer Gunnar Peterson.

She adds, “Working out and getting back into shape isn’t exciting to me but training for a triathlon is. There’s a goal at the end of it, something to reach for.”

Lopez plans to compete in her first triathlon – a marathon of running, swimming and cycling – later this year.

Remember Maid in Manhattan from all the way back in 2002?

Well Jennifer Lopez is working on a TV spin off for ABC.

Jen, who played a single mom from the Bronx in the movie, is going to exec produce the hour-long comedy-drama, and according to the writers, has been “a fountain of ideas” for the show.

Chad Hodge, who’s written the script for the pilot says, “the show is a different maid in a different Manhattan,” according to NYTimes.com.

We assume he means it will have a different slant on New York City, rather than being set in, say, the Manhattan in Riley County, Kansas.

Hodge says its going to focus more on the maid’s relationships with her co-workers, rather than an affair with a hotel guest, like the movie did.

“While the hotel’s clientele is an obvious part of this world,” said Hodge, “I’m more interested in the downstairs part of Upstairs, Downstairs,” (a classic British sitcom from the 70s).

Jennifer “will be very integral in the pilot and series,” he said.

Jennifer Lopez will not be forced to testify in a lawsuit filed against her ex Sean Combs over his involvement in a 1999 New York club shooting.

The singer/actress was dating the hip-hop mogul at the time of the incident, and was present at the now-defunct Club New York when shots were fired in the venue on December 27, 1999, injuring two people.

Combs’ rap protege Shyne, real name Jamal Barrow, is currently serving a 10-year jail term after he was found guilty of assault, reckless endangerment and gun possession in the trial following the shooting.

The rap heavyweight was arrested for various charges including weapons violations, but was acquitted of all counts.

Combs and Shyne are currently fighting a $130 million civil suit filed by victim Natania Reuben, who was shot in the face during the incident.

Lopez – who was not called as a witness in the 2001 criminal trial – was subpoenaed by Reuben’s attorneys in June, and was due to give her deposition on Tuesday.

But according to website TMZ.com, Lopez had “nothing to contribute” to the case, and her deposition was cancelled indefinitely – news which has been confirmed by Reuben’s lawyer.

The Latina split from Combs shortly after the shooting trial.
