Leah Remini fears the world has got completely the wrong idea about her best pal Jennifer Lopez - she’s nothing like the diva she’s portrayed as in the media. The TV star insists the singer is just that - and reports of her being awkward and temperamental are so far from the truth.

The actress says, “She’s so normal that it would baffle people. She loves to hang out, loves to give advice, loves to be a good friend, loves to be a good stepmother. (She’s always) cooking and cleaning and taking care of her man and taking care of her family. She just loves to be a girl.”

Jennifer Lopez may have let slip a little Scientology-speak during her appearance on “American Idol,” leading people to wonder if she’s more involved in the Church than she’s letting on.

J.Lo responded to a question from Ryan Seacrest about Simon Cowell’s acid tongue by saying she believed that “concentrating on the rightness brings more rightness.” According to Rush & Molloy, “rightness” is a central tenet in the L. Ron Hubbard lexicon, and it’s no wonder that Lopez has it on the tip of her tongue: Her dad, David Lopez, has been a Scientologist for 20 years, and one of her best friends, actress Leah Remini, is an avowed Church member as well. Still, Lopez has repeatedly denied being involved herself.

JLo fulfilled her civic obligation and spent Monday on jury duty. I’m sure having Jennifer Lopez in a court room wouldn’t be distracting AT ALL.

TMZ spies tell us La Lopez arrived at the Beverly Hills Courthouse at 8:30 AM with an assistant in tow, and spent most of her time in the jury room text messaging friends. Although we’re told Jennifer was really down to earth and talked to other jurors, at one point the prospective jurors were ushered into a hallway, while the pop diva stayed inside the courtroom with a personally assigned deputy.

Sources say the jury room was quite chilly, and after lunch Lopez returned dressed with a sweater and scarf and with a different assistant than in the morning.

At 2:30 PM word came down that the court case had been resolved and all forty prospective jurors, including Jennifer, were free to go home.

Jennifer Lopez is reportedly road-testing Victoria Beckham’s entire range of jeans, after Posh admitted she wants a model with a fuller figure to make sure the designs suit all girls.

JLO’s famous behind has been selected by Posh as the best tester for her new range of jeans, as the two have different body types.

A source told the Mirror: “Jen thinks Posh is incredibly stylish and has asked for some tips, but they’ve got different body shapes and she was concerned that things that look amazing on Posh wouldn’t suit her at all.”

The source added that when the pair met up at the Oscars, JLo asked Posh if her jeans would look good on someone with “more hunk in their trunk?”, so Posh offered to let her test out her latest designs.

And the two are now reportedly in close contact over JLo’s opinions on each pair of jeans, which look decidedly different on her derriere than Posh’s.

The source added: “She’s calling Posh daily to tell her what she thinks. She loves the quality and is chuffed that Victoria takes her input so seriously.”

Jennifer Lopez showed off her passionate side in her new Spanish-language album Como Ama Una Mujer, after being “emotionally restrained” singing in English.

After four studios albums in English - On The 6, J.LO, This Is Me… Then and Rebirth - Lopez returned to her Puerto Rican roots and recorded her new album solely in Spanish.

Lopez says, “I like singing in Spanish because its a bit more dramatic. In English we have to play it cool, but in Spanish, we can be passionate.”
