Jennifer Garner’s second child may have dimples, but it won’t be a girl, a source tells CelebTV.com.

Garner, who announced her pregnancy in August, is expecting her second child with husband Ben Affleck.

Garner went to the baby boutique Petit Tresor Friday to look for cribs, changing tables and gliders, but left with a few things in blue, a source from the boutique confirmed.

Among the items the couple took home: a Kensington chocolate playmat from Plain Mary with a blue monogrammed “A,” as well as matching Plain Mary items emblazoned with the word “hunk” on them (bibs, burpcloths and t-shirts), said an insider.

But apparently, they are expecting the new little guy to be chilly. The 36-year-old actress picked up more than six light blue blankets from My Blankee.

Like many of Hollywood’s leading ladies who counted on him to create their glamorous looks, Jennifer Garner is reeling from the loss of makeup artist Paul Starr, who died in his Los Angeles home Monday night.

“It’s a real blow to the people that loved him,” Garner tells People. “I’m just shocked. The real effect of not having him around is going to just hit us more and more both personally and professionally.”

She adds: “I can’t think of a thing that I did, that I loved, that Paul wasn’t a part of. It’s a horrible shock to me. He was such a warm, kind, wonderful man. He will be missed.”

Speaking to PEOPLE on Wednesday at Walt Disney’s 10th Anniversary party for the Baby Einstein line of merchandise, Garner, 36, held back tears as she remembered her dear friend.

“We were really close,” the actress says. “He was supposed to do my makeup this morning so that we could catch up. I think that the world just got a little less pretty.”

In addition to Garner, with whom he had worked for several years, Starr created signature looks for stars such as Angelina Jolie, Nicole Richie, and Madonna, and considered among his closest friends actress Rosanna Arquette.

The cause of Starr’s death was unknown, pending an autopsy.

Jennifer Garner has finally acknowledged her pregnancy.

At an event celebrating the 10th anniversary of Baby Einstein products in L.A. Wednesday, a USA Today reporter asked the actress, 36, about her upcoming projects.

Garner then pointed to her baby bump and said with a smile, “This.”

She wouldn’t reveal her due date, USA Today reports.

“We’re so excited, obviously,” she told Access Hollywood.

She also joked about her swollen belly. “Oh, I’m not pregnant. I just had a lot of carbs for breakfast. It’s just — what do they call it — a breakfast pouch?”

Garner and husband Ben Affleck — parents of daughter Violet, 2 — recently snapped up a $16 million house in the L.A.’s Brentwood neighborhood as they prep for their new baby.

In 2007, she told the UK edition of Marie Claire that she and Affleck couldn’t wait to give Violet a sib.

“We definitely wonder what it would be like to have another — hopefully, knock on wood, someday,” she said.

In June, Affleck told Access Hollywood, “We’re very happy. Things couldn’t be better. We’re kind of taking it easy and just kind of enjoying a little downtime at home.”
