Jay-Z is busy renovating his 40/40 Club in Mahanttan, and he’s just given one of his staff members a promotion of a lifetime. His personal chef, Mike Shand, has worked for the rapper for years now, and Jay-Z has just made him head chef of the restaurant/nightclub.

Jay-Z’s rep reports that the chef has already begun putting together the menu for the restaurant, and has included all of his bosses favorites, including Baja-style catfish.

“[Jay] knew that Mike would be able to improve upon the current menu in ways that had the Jay-Z seal of approval because many are dishes that he eats himself on a daily basis.”

I wonder if Beyonce will get her favorites included on the menu as well? Since she’s been calling herself ‘King B’ lately, I would only assume that she’ll get a little something, too.

Beyonce, 29, wore a skin tight Emilio Pucci gown at last night’s MET Gala. Everything was going fine until the singer tried to head inside the New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.

After posing for photos with husband Jay-Z, Beyonce headed towards the stairs – and stopped in her tracks. Jay-Z and a friend had to carry her up the steps into the event.

According to sources, Prince William and Kate Middleton have asked Beyonce and husband Jay-Z to perform at their wedding reception.

According to The Daily Star, a source close to the royal couple said, “Both William and Kate are massive fans of Beyoncé and Jay-Z. They really wanted to make their big day even more special and what better way than by getting pop royalty to perform at the party?”

The source continued, “Will and Kate will have an official reception for hundreds of dignitaries before throwing a less formal bash for loved-ones. They both wanted to ditch traditions and make it more personal for them.”

Beyoncé is currently in Europe where she is promoting her new single ‘Girls Who Run the World’ and Jay-Z is accompanying her.

The source is sure that it would be “highly likely” that the power couple would accept the invite to perform at the royal reception adding. “After all, who would turn down a once-in-a- lifetime gig like that?” the source said.

The palace has refused to neither confirm nor deny whether Beyonce and Jay-Z have accepted the invitation to perform.

A few days ago, a “selected” list of royals and celebs who are confirmed as wedding guests had been revealed.

Brits David and Victoria Beckham and Sir Elton John were no surprises, but the list also confirmed the attendance of director Guy Ritchie, singer Joss Stone, Olympic swimmer Ian Thorpe and quirky ‘Mr. Bean’ star Rowan Atkinson.

The 29-year-old singer stepped out in Paris last night with her new, blonde hair! Beyonce and husband Jay-Z stopped by the Champs Elysees area for dinner in Paris.

Maybe they’re celebrating their wedding a little late? On April 4th, the couple celebrated three years of marriage, but they’ve been together for nine!

Fans got a sneak peek at Beyonce’s new song, “Girls (Who Rule The World)” when the song was leaked online.

Beyonce had hired 200 backing dancers for the shoot and the track is described as a ‘stomping club banger’ and somewhat of a female anthem.

It will be the first song from her as-yet-titled new album, the follow-up to 2008′s I Am… Sasha Fierce.

Beyonce is gearing up to release her fourth solo album in June after playing a selection of tracks to record executives last month.

Sony Music Australia executive Denis Handlin enthused: ‘It was just amazing. She came in and played us six tracks from the album.

‘She wants to do a big tour off the back of this record… These songs, the best description I can give is groundbreaking; she’s gone to another level.’

Also this year, Beyonce is expected to film her role as Esther Hoffman in a remake of A Star Is Born, with Clint Eastwood directing.
