Looks like President Barack Obama is sticking to his presidential guns!

If you may recall,  two years ago President Obama let a personal opinion slip before an interview with ABC’s Nightline.  In the exchange, he called Kanye West a “jackass,” in lieu of his interruption of Taylor Swift‘s speech  at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Recently,  EOnline asked which rapper the leader of the free world preferred-  Kanye or Jay-Z- and he said Jay-Z!  Surprised? Not really.  President Obama responded, “I like Kanye. He’s a Chicago guy. Smart. He’s very talented.” After being gently reminded of his aforementioned Jackass comment,  the President went on to add, “He is a jackass…But he’s talented.”

And, of course, when you’re the daughter of entertainment royalty, you GET to celebrate Easter in CLASS!

…and that’s exactly what baby Blue Ivy, just three months old, did with her parents on Easter Sunday! Beyonce and Jay-Z took their brood to a celebrity Yacht party in St. Barts last weekend. Rumor has it, Blue Ivy wasn’t impressed- she slept through the whole shindig!

All right, Baby Blue- the bar’s set high. Next Easter somewhere more impressive?

All parents of a newborn could use a break, so Jay-Z and Beyonce did what any couple would do: packed up their stuff and headed to St. Barts.

Though the new mom and dad brought three-month-old baby Blue Ivy along for the vacation, they managed to squeeze in plenty of alone time too. When INF Daily’s photographers caught up with them, Jay and Bey were going for a romantic stroll near Nikki Beach.

Beyonce and Jay-Z have released the first public photos of their newborn daughter, Blue Ivy Carter!

Jay-Z posted the photos on his official website, Life and Times on Friday afternoon. The couple reportedly turned down a $14 million offer for the first pictures.

According to the New York Daily News, the couple are being praised on Twitter for turning down a reported $14 million offer for the first pictures, instead embracing social media and posting the pictures for free. Reaction to the photographs has sent Twitter into overdrive, with some fans digging up child-pictures of Beyonce and noting the comparison between the pair. One user said, “Blue Ivy is Flawless like Beyonce, and she looks like her mom”, while another fan joked, “That baby looks like Beyonce had a baby with Beyonce“. Reports last week suggested Jay Z had already moved to trademark his daughter’s name, after numerous third-parties attempted to do the same but were rejected after the relevant bodies assumed they were attempting to make money from the famous baby-girl.

Blue Ivy is absolutely gorgeous! With a full head of hair, and big brown eyes, the pictures show mom and dad happily holding their new baby girl.

“We welcome you to share our joy. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives – The Carter Family,” a note posted on the site along with the photos reads.

Beyonce gave birth on January 7, and shortly after, released a statement. “Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven. She was delivered naturally at a healthy 7 lbs. and it was the best experience of both of our lives.”
