Jamie Lynn Spears and her fiancé Casey Aldridge welcomed a baby girl Thursday morning.

PEOPLE confirms exclusively that the baby was named Maddie Briann.

“Just the family was there,” says a source about the birth around 9:30 a.m. at a hospital in Mississippi, near her Louisiana hometown. “Everyone is healthy and happy.”

Jamie Lynn’s sister Britney, father Jamie and brother Bryan flew in Wednesday to be with her for the birth; her mother Lynne had been with her helping her get ready for the baby.

Ever since the Zoey 101 made the shocking announcement that she’s pregnant, her mom, Lynne Spears, has been pushing her to marry baby daddy Casey.

And while it seems like the teen mom-to-be has been trying her best to do the right thing, insiders tell Star that the tension between the two young parents-to-be has become so intense that it’s doubtful they will ever tie the knot.

“Jamie Lynn and Casey have been fighting non-stop about everything, from what to name the baby to what to eat for dinner,” a source tells Star. “And now she’s called off their wedding plans.”

Despite reports that the couple bought a house near Jamie Lynn’s hometown of Kentwood, La,. Star has learned that 17-year-old Jamie Lynn has moved back into Serenity, the Spears’ family estate — and her dad, Jamie Spears, has flown from sister Britney’s side in L.A. to be there for his younger daughter.

“Jamie Lynn, Jamie and her mom are all staying at Serenity right now,” a second insider reveals. “They’ve been busy decorating the baby nursery.”

Casey, 19, is “in and out,” the second insider says. But despite the couple’s frequent trips to Wal-Mart, their relationship is seriously strained — and it’s been the talk of the town.

Edwin W. Merino, 30, has been accused of constantly pestering pregnant Spears and her fiance, Casey Aldridge in Mississippi.

Merino has been bailed and is due to reappear in court next week.

The parents-to-be, who recently purchased their first home together in Liberty, Mississippi, are preparing for the imminent birth of their child, sources tell People.

“They’re very happy,” says a source. “They’re a fun little couple.”

To get settled in their new home, Spears, 17, and Aldridge, 19, recently had furniture – including an elaborately carved four-poster king-size canopy bed, a leather recliner, and a leather sofa – delivered to the house.

Spears’s mom, Lynne, is helping her daughter decorate the nursery, with the color scheme of pink, brown, and “silver-green,” says an insider.

Spears, who is due to give birth soon, has been keeping a low profile as she readies the new house for her baby. The five-acre Liberty property is already equipped with a barn and studio, which was formerly used as a hair salon.

One new neighbor, who has already offered to babysit, says, “They’re just a sweet little old couple.”

Spears and Aldridge, who got engaged in March, plan to wed after the baby is born.

Jamie Lynn Spears is desperate to regain her fit physique after she gives birth next month, but she’s determined not to harm her unborn child by exercising while she’s pregnant.

The 17-year-old sister of pop superstar Britney Spears has gained an estimated 20 pounds in weight while pregnant.

And she’s keen to turn back the clock and slim down as soon as it’s safe for her to do so.

She tells OK! magazine, “I try to stay active, but you can’t do too many exercises because that’s not good for the baby. No running on the treadmill. I want to get back to my old weight, but you can’t work out right away. I don’t want to stay this way. I’ll just stick to my treadmill and weights, and I won’t eat cheese every day.”

But Jamie Lynn insists she won’t hire an expensive personal trainer, like her big sister: “You don’t have to pay somebody a bunch of money to make you skinny again. If you want to be skinny, you have to do it yourself. And I love to swim, so I know I’ll be doing a lot of that.”
