‘My Name is Earl’ actress Jaime Pressly was busted late last night for driving under the influence, according to TMZ.

Jaime was driving in Santa Monica last night around 11:00PM when she was pulled over. She was spotted police after committing a traffic violation.

A field sobriety test was performed and Jaime was arrested and booked on suspicion of DUI.

She was taken to the Santa Monica jail and held on $15,000 bail.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ there were no drugs in Jaime’s car. We’re also told no children were in the car. And, we know, there was no car accident. The only other circumstance in which bail is set at $15,000 — the normal amount is $5,000 — is when the driver’s blood-alcohol level is higher than .15. We have not, however, been able to confirm Jaime’s level.

Jaime Pressly has found love again.

The My Name is Earl star is engaged to entertainment lawyer Simran Singh, her rep announced. No wedding date has been set.

The couple hit San Diego’s Hard Rock Hotel on Thursday to celebrate their engagement and her 32nd birthday, which is Friday.

Late last year, Jaime ended her two-year engagement to deejay Eric Cubiche, with whom she has a two-year-old son, Dezi. In March she opened up about the split saying sometimes a relationship “just doesn’t work.”

She added that she was keeping an eye out for love.

“I’d like to be with somebody who isn’t afraid to take care of me — whether they have the same financial means as me or not,” she told Redbook. “What’s important is that they realize there are other ways of taking care of me that have [nothing] to do with money. Like cooking me dinner or going to the grocery store or picking up after yourself.”

Star has a preview of the new book, It’s Not Necessarily Not the Truth, written by the My Name is Earl star, which chronicles how she overcame her troubled past and family dramas.

Her ticket out of Kinston began when she moved to California at 14. She soon got an offer to model in Japan. But at 118 pounds, she was told to shed some weight before signing her contract. When diet and exercise didn’t work, Jaime says she began “bingeing and purging” — the classic signs of bulimia.

Modeling was a problem, but so was her life after her modeling career ended early. Jaime moved in with her then boyfriend, Chris, a gang leader who had been in and out of jail. Their neighborhood was rife with violence: Once, at a high school football game, Jaime watched one girl stab a friend 11 times.

Jaime Pressly and fiancé, Eric Cubiche, who are parents to a 1 ½-year-old son, have separated, the My Name is Earl star reveals.

“We are taking a break from our relationship but we are together every day with Dezi and still love each other very much,” the actress tells Access Hollywood’s Nancy O’Dell.

The couple, who welcomed their son, Dezi James, in May 2007, plan to “remain close friends as we both adore our son and want to make sure he knows we both love him more than life,” Pressly adds.

Pressly, 31, and Cubiche, 33, were friends for more than nine years and dated for a year and a half before getting engaged in October, 2006.

Earlier this year, Pressly said they had no immediate plans to marry becayse she didn’t want to “go through the rigmarole of throwing a big wedding.”
