Jaime Pressly is certainly enjoying the fruits of the famous seeing as how she will avoid serving any jail time for her DUI arrest back in January after blowing 3x the legal limit:

Jaime was arrested for DUI back in January after blowing a .22 … and in case you didn’t know, the legal limit in Cali is .08.

The “My Name Is Earl” star was charged with two counts of DUI — driving under the influence, and driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher.

But according to court personnel, the first count was dropped after striking a deal with prosecutors — and Jaime pled “no contest” today to the second … in exchange for three years probation.

Jaime should be clicking her heels about that deal; had she not come to that agreement, she was looking at six month in the slammer.

Actress Jaime Pressly is worried about her public image after she was busted for a DUI recently. The 33-year-old actress is reportedly still getting the thick of her arrest while also dealing with her divorce from husband Simran Singh.

Her lawyer, Rich Hutton, made this statement:

“She’s concerned about how the arrest will affect her image because she feels this situation is unjustified,[...]It doesn’t represent who she is.[...]She’s a wonderful woman. She’s doing great. She takes this [DUI case] very seriously. She’s upset, but overall – aside from this – she’s doing very well.”

Jamie is pleading not guilty to the DUI charges, and the next court date for her case is May 3. Stay positive, Jamie!

It’s been a rough couple months for Jaime Pressly. The 33-year-old actress was not only arrested on suspicion of DUI, but she’s also getting divored from her husband, Simran Singh after being married for less than a year.

“People [are] thinking my divorce is happening because of the [DUI] situation,” she tells Extra. “Truth is: These are all isolated incidents.”

Pressly, who admits she is “human and never claimed to be perfect,” wants to set the record straight on “ridiculously unkind and untrue” allegations so she can protect her child Desi, 3, whom she had with ex, Eric Cubiche.

“I don’t ever want my son to grow up and read all these false statements,” she says, adding that she and Singh “fell in love quickly. We got married very quickly. It didn’t work out the way we wanted to. There’s nothing more to it.”

Jaime Pressly has filed for divorce from her husband Simran Singh after being married for one year!

In court documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on January 21, Pressly cites irreconcilable differences as the cause for the collapse of her marriage which she claims ended on December 27.

The actress, who legally took her husband’s surname, is also requesting to have her name restored to Pressly.

The divorce comes in the wake of the 33-year-old’s arrest on the suspicion of drunk driving.

At least she’s getting away from the guy. I’ve heard that he was treating her like crap and was putting her down a lot. So forget him. What do you think?

First the My Name is Earl actress was arrested on suspicion of DUI, and now sources are confirming to US Weekly that Jaime Pressly and her husband Simran Singh are calling it quits.

“They are done,” one insider tells UsMagazine.com of the pair, who wed in September 2009.

Adds another, “It’s over. I don’t think they have officially filed anything yet though.”

Continues the second source, “I think it comes down to she married this guy too fast. He seemed like a good guy but he is super full of himself and puts her down for everything. He picks fights with her for any little thing.”

The insider adds that Pressly is most heartbroken over how the separation will affect her three-year-old son Dezi (with ex-fiance Eric Cubiche.)

“She doesn’t want to confuse him,” says the source. “Her baby is her top priority. She is a strong girl though and she will come out of this fine.”

And it just gets better from there! It was revealed today that Jaime is in major IRS trouble (to the tune of $637,000)!

The IRS filed a $260,370 tax lien on December 6 against the Emmy-winning star, who was arrested on a DUI charge earlier this month.

The US government tax agency also filed a $281,699 tax lien on September 8 for 2008 income taxes. And on June 21 the state of California filed a $95,080 lien in Los Angeles.

Very drunk!

According to TMZ, when Jaime Pressly was pulled over for a DUI on January 5th – she registered a .22 blood alcohol level, nearly three times the legal limit!

Pressly, arrested around 11 pm in Santa Monica, blew the .22 at the scene of the stop, TMZ says law enforcement officials told them. The legal limit in California is .08. Luckily, there was no traffic accident involved, and police simply pulled her over for a traffic violation, at which point they began to suspect that she was under the influence.

Pressly was forced to spend the night in prison, and was released on $15,000 bail.
