After his mom, Sharon, was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2002, Jack Osbourne became so depressed, he tried to kill himself with an overdose of prescription pills, including OxyContin and Valium.

“I started getting suicidal,” Jack reveals in an exclusive interview with In Touch. “I was just doing loads of drugs and drinking. I was miserable.”

Jack, 23, who started going down the wrong path when he was just 13, hit rock bottom on Easter in 2003. “I disappeared for the long weekend,” says the reality star. “When I came back, I knew I needed help. I was like, ‘Okay, I will do this.’”

Jack’s dad, rocker Ozzy Osbourne, an admitted alcoholic and addict for decades, also convinced him to get help. “He said, ‘If you go to treatment, I’ll go to treatment as well.’”

Jack checked into Visions Adolescent Treatment Center in Malibu. “A year passed and then two and then three and now it’s nearly six,” says Jack, who has gotten into healthy activities like kickboxing. And he intends to stay clean. “I don’t have a plan,” he explains. “I’m just going to keep doing what I’ve been doing and hopefully not drink. I don’t ever want to come back to rehab again.”

Jack Osbourne has hit out at his mother Sharon for revealing his fling with Paris Hilton – and confesses it’s not entirely true.

The TV star refuses to reveal details of his tryst with the socialite, but he hints Sharon’s description of a wild night of passion may not be completely accurate.

He says, “My mum said that, not me, and there’s not that much truth in it. I did have words with my mum. She likes exposing me.”

Former alcoholic JACK OSBOURNE is blaming the British royal family after he accidentally drank alcohol for the first time in three years. The son of rocker OZZY OSBOURNE spent time in rehab in 2003 suffering addictions to drink and drugs, but recovered and has been clean and healthy since – until he accepted an invitation to PRINCESS BEATRICE’s 18th birthday party last week (15JUL06). The 20-year-old has successfully avoided booze since turning teetotal, but claims he was unwittingly duped into drinking vodka at the bash. He says, “They brought out a strawberry jelly and didn’t say it had vodka in it.” Osbourne, who dressed as notorious London killer JACK THE RIPPER for the 1888-themed party, also takes a swipe at the snooty guests at the bash for SARAH FERGUSON, THE DUCHESS OF YORK and PRINCE ANDREW’s eldest daughter. He adds, “The amount of posh people there was unreal. There were so many Eton schoolboys. I couldn’t relate to them. I don’t walk around wearing a ring with my family’s crest on it and say, ‘Woof woof!’”
