Hulk Hogan has declared his unconditional love for estranged wife Linda Bollea – despite the pair’s increasingly bitter divorce proceedings.

The wrestling icon – real name Terry Bollea – split from his wife last November – after 23 years of marriage.

And the former couple has faced a string of devastating difficulties since their separation, including the imprisonment of their 17-year-old son Nick, is serving an eight-month prison sentence at Florida’s Pinellas County Jail following a car crash which left his friend John Graziano brain damaged.

As an added embarrassment for the Bollea family, Linda is currently dating a teenager 29 years her junior – prompting failed singer daughter Brooke to publicly lambaste her mom’s choices.

However, despite their grievances, Bollea insists his love for his longtime partner has not faltered.

He tells People.com, “I unconditionally love my wife, even though we’re not together anymore. The Linda that I know was a great mother and a great person.”

And the star claims to have resolved his issues with daughter Brooke, who was left devastated by her parents split, her brother’s incarceration and her mum’s consequent relationship with a 19-year-old.

He adds, “She (Brooke) was a little confused about who everybody was, and maybe had misinformation, but right now Brooke understands who I am, and who her mom is, and what’s real and not real. She’s doing real well now.”

Brooke Hogan, 20, sees nothing wrong with photos showing dad Hulk, 54, applying lotion to her butt that sparked a flurry of Internet gossip in April.

“I know I’m a grown woman, but it’s like he’s touching an old car,” the singer tells Us Weekly in its latest issue, on newsstands now.

“He used to change my diaper!” she adds.

Linda Hogan wants Hulk to spend time with Nick — behind bars.

Linda is asking a judge to cite the Hulkster with contempt of court, because he allegedly didn’t ante up money for a $4.2 million Vegas condo, as required by the judge. Yes, the judge ordered Hulk to pay for a party pad. We love the law.

The condo was in escrow when the divorce was filed and the court order required both Hulk and Linda to close the deal and then put the asset in the community pot. Linda has put her share in but Hulk hasn’t.

And here’s the kicker. In the legal papers, Linda is asking the judge to throw Hulk’s ass in the Pinellas County Jail, where Hulk and Nick can sure scheme to hatch the post-pokey real-ality show. Dis and gusting.

Hulk Hogan fought back tears during a live TV interview on Tuesday night after expressing his fears over son Nick Bollea’s state of mind – insisting the 17-year-old has been “unraveling” during his spell in prison.

The former wrestler’s son is currently serving an eight-month prison sentence at Florida’s Pinellas County Jail, after pleading no contest to a felony of reckless driving following a horrific car crash in Clearwater, Florida – which has left his friend John Graziano brain damaged.

The teenager has been rocked by a series of personal setbacks, including spending his first few weeks in solitary confinement and recordings of his private phone calls to his parents being leaked to the media.

And during an emotional appearance on Larry King Live, Hogan admitted he is seriously worried about his son.

He tells King, “It was like the whole world (was) crashing down on my son. Solitary confinement – most hardened criminals unravel after two or three days. Nick survived in there 28-29 days. I did everything I could to laugh, to cry with my son. I was trying to help (to) give Nick some type of relief because he (was) consumed with the unknown.”

And Bollea insists the leaked telephone conversations may have tipped Nick over the edge.

He adds, “This was the only thing Nick had left. This is the privacy everybody had in prison… and to have that taken away? I was more worried than ever about his mental state unraveling.”

Hulk Hogan and his family have been chastized by the parents of the teenager left critically injured by their son Nick’s 2007 car crash.

Nick Bollea, 17, is currently serving an eight-month prison sentence at Florida’s Pinellas County Jail, after pleading no contest to felony reckless driving following a horrific car crash in Clearwater, Florida – which has left his friend John Graziano brain damaged.

But Graziano’s parents Ed and Debra are furious at the teenager’s lack of remorse, after hearing Nick discuss plans to win an early release from jail in taped telephone conversations that were leaked online at the weekend.

On the tapes, obtained by website TMZ.com, Bollea can be heard telling his dad that he wants to turn up for a court hearing “in my jumpsuit, for the sympathetic factor”.
A statement released by the Grazianos via their lawyers reads: “These tapes clearly show what the Bolleas said in court was calculated to give the Court the impression that Nick deserved a break. It was a true Academy Award performance. They (the Bollea family) spoke of their love for John and they expressed how sorry they were, but their true feelings have now been revealed in the tapes…”

The Grazianos also blast the Bolleas for trying to cash in on their grief – by turning Nick’s prison stint into a money-spinning reality TV show.

They add: “Nick Bollea and Terry Bollea are already planning a new reality show. Cameras are set to film Nick Bollea as he is released from jail and while he serves his probation.”

Ed Graziano goes on to say: “The reason he (Nick) was put in jail is to think about what he did to my son. (But) that’s the last thought on his mind.”

Hulk Hogan is reportedly planning to call a court hearing to appeal to have his imprisoned son Nick Bollea transferred to another penitentiary.

In a series of taped phone conversations obtained by TMZ, the former wrestler can be heard making arrangements for a secret trial with his son Nick. The 17-year-old is currently serving an eight-month sentence after pleading no contest to felony reckless driving following a horrific car crash in Clearwater, Florida, which left his friend John Graziano critically injured.

In one of the recorded calls, Hogan can be heard telling the teen he will not be appearing at the courthouse, because he feared his presence would attract unwanted press attention and inadvertantly pressure the judge “not to do the right thing”.

Hogan then advises his son against telling his mother – the star’s estranged wife Linda – about their plan, fearing she would arrive at the hearing with her divorce lawyers and draw more attention to the court date.

Bollea also tells his father of his plans to arrive in court “in my jumpsuit, for the sympathetic factor”.

It is believed Bollea will be asking to be released from Florida’s Pinellas County Jail, and even request to be put under house arrest, after making his wishes known in another conversation – which has yet to hit the internet.

Best known for laying the smack-down, Hulk Hogan showed his softer side this week in Miami Beach – splashing around with new girlfriend Jennifer McDaniel.

“He’s very happy,” a source tells People. “He just seems very happy. His mood has changed. He’s in a better place.”

Hogan (real name Terry Gene Bollea), 54, whose wife Linda Bollea, 46, filed for divorce in November, reportedly met McDaniel around the first of the year.

And while Hogan hasn’t publicized his relationship, the two are spending a lot of time together. Besides their latest frolic in south Florida (both live in the Sunshine State), the duo went to New Orleans Mardi Gras together, were in Los Angeles last week to film a promo for NBC, and McDaniel is expected to accompany Hogan to L.A. for the next few weeks while he films the new season of American Gladiators.

“I hear she’s very sweet and nice and a very good influence on him,” the source adds. “He’s in a much better place.”

Hogan’s rep had no comment.
