Here is the Playboy cover that probably shouldn’t have been released!

Crystal Harris poses as Mrs. Hugh Hefner on the July cover – because they should have been getting married on Saturday!

Crystal told Ryan Seacrest this morning that she was the one who pulled the plug on the wedding, but that the Hef was relieved!

“I called it off because I didn’t think it was the right thing for me to do,” Harris told Seacrest this morning. “It was mutual between Hef and I, there was no fight, we sat down and we talked about it.”

According to Harris, while it may appear to be a sudden decision, the question mark had been hanging over her for quite some time.

“For a while I’ve been having second thoughts about everything. I haven’t really been at peace with myself lately. I didn’t think it was really fair to him…They were gonna air a show on it. It was al happening too fast for me.”

And she says that when she broke the news to Hef about not making good on that whole “til death do us part” thing, she said, “He understood. We both agreed that it wasn’t the best idea to get married.”

According to Crystal, for Hef, at least, that ship has sailed. When asked by Ryan if she thought Hef would ever make it down the aisle, she replied swiftly.

“No, he said he was just doing this wedding for me, he thought that’s what I wanted. We’re both relieved.

“I just feel that I owed it to Hef and everyone there to do the right thing and move on,” she said. So how’s her jilted ex fiancé handling this whole thing?

“Hef’s doing great,” she said. If nothing else, he certainly appears to have kept his sense of humor about himself, tweeting out that instead of getting married this Saturday, he’ll instead be watching the film Runaway Bride.

“He’s OK,” she went on. “Hef’s lifestyle isn’t the most normal lifestyle…That’s the thing, this isn’t the lifestyle for me, the multiple girls all around, it’s not the lifestyle I wanted.”

Either way, it’s probably a very good thing they didn’t get married. The Playboy cover is sure odd, though!

Just minutes ago, Hugh Hefner‘s ex-fiancée, Crystal Harris, tweeted a link to her personal website, which sends the public message stating:

After much deep reflection and thought I have decided to end my engagement with Hef. I have the utmost respect for Hef and wish him the best going forward. I hope the media will give each of us the privacy we deserve during this time.

So Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris‘ engagement and wedding have been called off. In case you didn’t know, Life & Style magazine reported back in March that Crystal, while in a relationship with Hugh, had been dating Jordan McGraw, son of Phil McGraw aka Dr. Phil.

As Life & Style first reported in March, Crystal had been dating her songwriting partner and the son of Dr. Phil behind fiancé Hef’s back. Life & Style first spotted the 24-year-old lovebirds cozying up at the Chateau Marmont in LA on March 14. While Crystal attempted to keep their romance low-profile, Jordan didn’t care to hide his affections and was kissing her shoulder and trying to hold her hand – which was still adorned with her 6-carat engagement ring. The pair met through the Organica Music Group, where Jordan worked with Crystal as a songwriter.

Crystal and Hef, who got engaged in December, were only days away from their June 18 wedding date. “Crystal informed me of the news this morning and that the decision to call off the wedding was mutual,” Crystal’s manager, Michael Blakey, President of Organica Music Group, tells Life & Style. “The split was amicable and I’m happy to say that Crystal and Hef will remain close friends.”

And ironic that the son-of-a-psychologist-slash-family-counseling-TV-host would be a part of this Hollywood scandal relationship breakup!

Looks like Hugh Hefner’s fiance has had a change of mind! And not a minute too soon! The couple were said to marry on Saturday.

Hugh Hefner’s fiancee Crystal Harris is a real-life runaway bride — 5 days before walking down the aisle … she bailed out of the Playboy Mansion and multiple sources say the wedding is off!

Our sources — who are all at the mansion — say Crystal and Hef had a nasty argument this weekend on the phone. When the dust settled Crystal decided to 86 the nuptials and quickly moved her stuff out.

The wedding was supposed to go down Saturday.

This would have been Hef’s, umm … third marriage.

Happy birthday, Crystal Harris! Today (April 29) marks a special day for the Playboy playmate.

And who is most excited about the birthday celebration? Crystal’s fiancé, Hugh Hefner, of course!

Earlier this morning, Hugh (@HughHefner) tweeted, “Happy birthday, Crystal! I love you very much.”

While most ladies get flowers, clothes, jewelry, or mini vacations for their birthday, Crystal received something else: a really nice car.

In response to a Twitter follower, Hugh tweeted, “@MimiFlowerchild I got Crystal a Bentley Continental GT for her birthday, Mimi.”

WOWZERS! In case you didn’t know, base price for a 2011 Bentley Continental GT stars around $205,000. Not too shabby.

Holly Madison, shocked to find out about her ex-boyfriend Hugh Hefner’s marriage proposal to Crystal Harris over Christmas, is now breaking her silence in the new issue of Life & Style—on newsstands now—warning Hef to reconsider.

“I’d like to see Hef settle down,” Holly told Life & Style during the exclusive interview on Jan. 6. “I just want it to be with the right person, and I feel like he’s making a hasty decision. I’m not sure Crystal is the best thing for him.”

While Crystal, 24, moved into the Playboy Mansion only in January 2009, Holly was Hef’s right hand for six years until the two split in October 2008. “Crystal hasn’t been around very long — she’s a mysterious character,” says Holly. “No one knows much about her. Plus, she’s very young, probably too young to settle down. I’ve seen a lot of girls try to date Hef, and some have ulterior motives. I don’t think it would be a bad idea for him to get to know her a little better. I think it’s possible Crystal could break Hef’s heart. They could end up divorcing, and she could take half his money.”

So she arranged a face-to-face with the duo on Jan. 5 to witness the duo’s supposed joy for herself. “I wanted to check up in person,” Holly says about of the emotional encounter, which was filmed for season two of her E! reality series, Holly’s World (premiering on Jan. 23). “I told them that I wish them the best and that Crystal had better not do him wrong or else I’ll kick her butt. It was definitely awkward.”

In the end, Holly just hopes Hef has indeed found his perfect match. “I’m not jealous that he’d marry someone else. I just don’t want it to be a girl who’s using him to start her career,” she tells Life & Style. “Basically, I think he could do better than Crystal.”

Speaking via her manager, Michael Blakey, Crystal told Life & Style, “I’ve never been happier in my life. I’m so excited to be marrying Hef.”
