Three weeks after getting cozy in New York over New Year’s Eve, Jessica Simpson and John Mayer made another cute-couple appearance, this time in Miami.

On Monday, the pair worked out together at their hotel’s Sports Club/LA gym, taking a yoga class and then lifting weights a deux, sources said.

That evening, they arrived hand-in-hand at The Shore Club’s Nobu restaurant, where they sat and talked for more than two hours over sushi and bottled water, she in a revealing black dress, he in a black sweatshirt and jeans.

Simpson, 26, and Mayer, 29, longtime friends who’ve been linked off and on since the summer, chatted easily, and at a few points she leaned forward and he reached across the table to hold both her hands.

“They looked really cute together,” says one witness at Nobu. “They were talking and laughing the whole time. She was constantly fixing herself to make sure she looked her best for him.”

When the check came, she reached for her bag and he reached for his wallet. She, however, pulled out a lipstick while he grabbed the bill. After the meal, she took a trip to the ladies room, and when she came out, wrapped her arms around the much-taller Mayer and stood on her tiptoes for a kiss on the nose.

How long will the couple be in the Sunshine State? Mayer, at least, should be sticking around: He’s performing in Jacksonville on Thursday, Miami on Friday, Orlando on Saturday and Pensacola on the following Monday night.

Perhaps Sienna Miller is taking a leaf out of her on/off boyfriend Jude Law’s book after being snapped cosying up to singer P Diddy last night at Harry O’s nightclub in Park City, Utah, where the Sundance Film Festival is currently being held. The 25-year-old actress could be seen talking intently to P Diddy who was wearing his trademark bling jewellery as well as knocking back his tipple of choice – champagne. When Miller flew into Utah she was forced to deny reports she had begun a romance with actor Josh Hartnett after the pair were photographed sitting close to each other in Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont Hotel last week. The actress has since been braving the cold temperatures in a beanie hat as she promotes her new movie Factory Girl.

As I first posted yesterday, Cameron Diaz and Kelly Slater have been spending more and more time together.

And today, TMZ is reporting:

Cameron Diaz got a whole lot of personal attention from surf champion Kelly Slater during a private surf lesson in Hawaii this week. In fact, the surf god could barely take his eyes off Diaz as the pair shredded waves on the North Shore of Oahu. We’re told the duo hit various golf courses and restaurants on the island … and that Diaz is shacking up at Slater’s island home.

Chad Lowe is seeing producer Kim Painter, his rep confirms.

“They are dating,” Lowe’s publicist, Cindy Guagenti, tells PEOPLE. Lowe, 39, split last year from wife Hilary Swank.

Lowe, 39, and Painter were spotted together at the Nov. 15 L.A. premiere of Carrie Fisher’s one-woman show, Wishful Drinking, which Painter co-produced.

Since then, they’ve been making appearances all over L.A. (as the New York Daily News first reported) – including a recent trip to Mr. Chow for dinner with Lowe’s family.

And after the Golden Globes, they chatted and smooched at the InStyle/Warner Bros. party, and later, while waiting at the valet stand, Lowe introduced Painter to friends including Emilio Estevez, Seal and Heidi Klum. Painter grumbled about the cold and Lowe gave her a snuggle to keep her warm.

Romance isn’t the only thing going well in Lowe’s life: On Jan. 29, the actor-director, who helmed last year’s Beautiful Ohio, will make his debut as Deputy Chief of Staff Reed Pollock on FOX’s 24.

According to TMZ spies, Cameron was in the North Shore of Hawaii with surf stud and former Baywatch star Kelly Slater.

We’re told the couple shared a romantic oceanfront dinner at Haleiwa Joe’s restaurant before heading back to Slater’s place. Indeed, we’re told Cameron is staying with Slater. The two have been friends for years; Slater even appeared on Cameron’s MTV show “Trippin” in 2005.

Other TMZ spies tell us that during the Golden Globes, Cameron kept coming up to Justin’s table, trying to engage him in conversation. Each time she left, a frustrated Justin made it clear he just wanted a clean break.

And there are reports that at an after-party, Cameron went off on Jessica Biel for getting too “close” to Justin.

They’d be hot together, I’ll give them that.

Some of Marilyn Manson’s pals aren’t so happy about his rumored relationship with 19-year-old actress Evan Rachel Wood, PEOPLE reports in its new issue.

“It’s like he’s having a midlife crisis,” says a source close to Manson, 38, and estranged wife Dita Von Teese, 34. “He’s with a younger version of Dita.”

The friend points out that Wood, who was last seen in public with Manson at his birthday party on Jan. 5, “has her hair and makeup done like Dita.”

Meanwhile, there’s one sign that it’s getting serious between the pair: For his 38th birthday, Wood “gave him a live scorpion in a cage,” a source at the goth rocker’s party tells PEOPLE.

Von Teese filed for divorce from Manson on Dec. 29.

A rep for Wood would not confirm the romance with Manson. The rocker’s rep declined comment.
