French actor Olivier Martinez was comforted by Penelope Cruz in Los Angeles on Saturday, just 12 hours after splitting from pop star Kylie Minogue. The star was pictured embracing the Oscar nominee at L.A.’s Chateau Marmont Hotel – the place where he met and fell for the singer four years ago.

An insider tells British newspaper the Daily Mirror, “Does Olivier really have to rub Kylie’s nose in it? He is being so brazen about it all. This will devastate her. Kylie is a very sensitive woman who loved him with all her heart but he looks like he doesn’t have a care in the world.”

The pair issued a statement on Friday saying, “Olivier Martinez and Kylie Minogue have officially confirmed that they are no longer a couple. They have made it clear that the decision to go their separate ways was mutual and amicable. The media’s false accusations of disloyalty have saddened them both. The two remain very close friends.”

Martinez had sparked rumours of a split with the star in December after he was spotted with Israeli model Sarai Givati and Lost star Michelle Rodriguez.

Meg Ryan and Matthew Perry have sparked rumours they are romantically involved after being seen getting cozy in Los Angeles.

The former Friends star has been a regular guest at the actress’ gated home in Bel Air, California.

A source tells American publication Us Weekly Perry was spotted arriving at Ryan’s home on Saturday night at 8:30pm, saying she “had the gates open, just waiting for him”.

Perry, 37, and Ryan, 45, were also see dining out at The Brentwood restaurant in Los Angeles over the holidays.

An eyewitness says, “They sat in a dark corner booth. Meg asked that the spotlight on their table to be turned down.”

A source confirms Perry and his recent girlfriend, The Class star Lizzy Caplan, 24, “are not dating anymore.”

Actress Jessica Biel reportedly flew out to the Sundance Film Festival on Wednesday to spend time with new love interest Justin Timberlake.

“Jessica was picked up in her chauffer-driven Volkswagen Touareg car and instantly went to visit Timberlake when she got into Park City,” a source says.

Biel, most recently seen playing a young soldier returning from Iraq in the film Home of the Brave, doesn’t have a movie screening at the festival, although Timberlake’s new film, Black Snake Moan, premiered on Wednesday.

The athletic twosome spent the following day snowboarding together, a Biel insider tells Perez.

Well, if Cameron Diaz’s outburst at Prince’s Golden Globes after-party is any indication, this should result in a Camquake registering 7.0 on the rage scale.

As Us reported earlier this week, when Diaz, 34, caught Timberlake, 25 flirting with Biel, 24, at the party on January 15, she stormed across the room and unleashed her jealous fury upon her ex.

A witness told Us, “First she started saying all these nasty things to him about Jessica like, ‘What is she? Your new f–king girlfriend? Look at her!’ And then she insinuated things about other guys that Jessica has been with.”

In the meantime, it looks like things have cooled off between the former 7th Heaven actress and Yankee Derek Jeter, who took a romantic vacation to Puerto Rico over New Year’s. Jeter was spotted dirty dancing with actress Gabrielle Union at in the Bahamas last weekend.

No word yet on what happened between Justin and Scarlett Johansson who hooked up with a few weeks ago after he cast her in his video “What Goes Around.”

In the meantime, we like to imagine that Scarlett and Biel settled it like those movies where two little kids are fighting over ownership of a dog, so they put it in the middle and both call for it and whoever it lopes over to first wins.

Mandy Moore and DJ AM are looking every bit the happy couple these days.

Although they are carefully trying not to be photographed, they’re appearing more often together in public, and by all accounts are having a blast since hooking up in Miami over New Year’s earlier this month.

Sources tell Us that Mandy, 22, and AM, 33, partied together Saturday night at Park City, Utah’s Sundance Film Festival, where Moore’s film Dedication is showing.

“Mandy was performing songs from her new album, and the last song was ‘Gardenia,’” a source tells Us. “DJ was standing in the corner drinking P.i.n.k. Vodka and smiling. He was singing along. He clearly had heard the song before, and the album isn’t even out yet!”

Furthermore, Moore and AM were spotted hanging out together during the festival at the Prime Steakhouse on Main Street. The couple, along with six other friends, sat next to each other and dined for at least two hours, drinking wine, and smiling at each other.

Perhaps Sienna Miller is taking a leaf out of her on/off boyfriend Jude Law’s book after being snapped cosying up to singer P Diddy last night at Harry O’s nightclub in Park City, Utah, where the Sundance Film Festival is currently being held. The 25-year-old actress could be seen talking intently to P Diddy who was wearing his trademark bling jewellery as well as knocking back his tipple of choice – champagne. When Miller flew into Utah she was forced to deny reports she had begun a romance with actor Josh Hartnett after the pair were photographed sitting close to each other in Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont Hotel last week. The actress has since been braving the cold temperatures in a beanie hat as she promotes her new movie Factory Girl.

Cameron Diaz got a whole lot of personal attention from surf champion Kelly Slater during a private surf lesson in Hawaii this week. In fact, the surf god could barely take his eyes off Diaz as the pair shredded waves on the North Shore of Oahu. We’re told the duo hit various golf courses and restaurants on the island … and that Diaz is shacking up at Slater’s island home.
