Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt believe their marriage will last for eternity.

“Forever and ever and ever!” Montag gushed on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show on Monday.

In fact, the newlyweds, who eloped in Mexico on Nov. 19, already have babies on the brain.

“A little birdie told me you were tryin’ [for kids],” Seacrest said.

“We definitely need a kid ASAP,” Pratt confirmed.

But Montag has a different plan. “I don’t want kids for a long time. You’ve got to keep your youth, your body for as long as you can. I feel like when I’m 30, we will,” the Hills star told Us Weekly after their elopement.

Montag and Pratt’s eloping shocked many, including her mother, Darlene Egelhoff, who told Us Weekly that Spencer may have drugged her daughter to get her to marry him. But Montag believes her mother has since seen the light.

“She loves Spencer and she always says she’s never seen anyone treat someone as well as Spencer treats me,” Montag said. “I think moms are just shocked at first because all moms would be, but she’s really come around.”

Still, Egelhoff won’t be spending the holidays with her new son-in-law.

“I don’t think so, because I’ll only have one day to go home,” Montag explained. “We’re going to New York and Vegas and then back to New York and Chicago. I’d have to fly home for one day and I don’t know if I can be in all those places at once.

Meanwhile, in Monday’s season finale of MTV’s The Hills, Montag makes amends with her one-time BFF, Lauren Conrad.

“You’ve got to stay tuned for tonight, but I think Lauren and I both have had a lot that’s happened in our lives and we’re older now,” Montag said. “For me personally, I’ve missed her. That was my best friend and it’s hard when that’s taken out of your life. I think for both of us we just wanted some kind of closure in one way or another. It was really really good to see her. It was definitely one of my best moments of the season.”

Spencer Pratt says his marriage to Heidi Montag is legal.

In an interview with Ryan Seacrest that airs Monday, Pratt, 25, says, “We checked the confidentially box, so good luck [finding our marriage license] people!”

In a teaser clip for the season finale show shown after the Dec. 15 Hills episode, Pratt is seen fighting with Montag’s mom before taking his bride to a courthouse to legalize their union.

But the Associated Press questions the legality because the judge shown in the trailer doesn’t sit on the bench at the Los Angeles Superior Court, and civil wedding ceremonies are usually performed in chambers instead of courtrooms.

An MTV spokesperson tells Usmagazine.com in a statement: “MTV crews captured Heidi and Spencer at the Beverly Hills Courthouse with the Deputy Commissioner who handles all civil unions. We filmed after hours at the request of the courthouse so our cameras would not inconvenience other couples getting married that day.”

Pratt and Montag eloped to Mexico Nov. 20, as exclusively reported by Us Weekly.

And although their first ceremony was symbolic because it was performed outside the country, Pratt told Us, “In my mind, it’s as legal as this ring on my finger.”

Did Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt take thee viewer for a ride?

A preview clip of next week’s finale of MTV’s The Hills shows the couple, who say they eloped in Mexico, apparently making it official in a courthouse.

The pair are seen entering the courtroom as a judge smiles down on them, with Pratt’s sister, Stephanie Pratt, in attendance. “I, Heidi, take thee, Spencer,” Montag says in the clip.

A court spokesman says MTV was recently granted permission to film at the Beverly Hill courthouse, but it was done after hours, and the judge in the scene is not one of the court’s judges.

Civil ceremonies are sometimes performed at the Beverly Hills courthouse, but not in the manner portrayed in the brief preview, spokesman Allan Parachini tells the Associated Press, adding that if a judge does preside, it’s typically in chambers during a break.

Also, as of yet, there is no record of any marriage license for the couple in L.A. County, according to Sid Keating of the L.A. Registrar’s office, although any couple can request their license to remain private.

An MTV rep wasn’t immediately available for comment.

Heidi looks so different before the plastic surgery.

Lauren Conrad is keeping her lips sealed about Heidi Montag’s surprise elopement to Spencer Pratt.

“No thoughts!” she told Usmagazine.com Monday at a D&G Flagship boutique opening in Beverly Hills. “I don’t think any good has ever come from me having an opinion on their relationship, so let’s leave it at that!”

Asked if it’s nice being back on good terms with Montag, Conrad said, “Yeah. That’s all I can say about that!”

She also said things are “great” with Audrina Patridge.

“I mean, as always, we are both so busy, which is great for us,” she told Us. “We both have our own things going on, but you know, we talk at least once a week, and we try and get together as much as we can.”

Conrad recently taped a spot on ex Brody Jenner’s upcoming MTV reality show Bromance.

“He let me do an episode where it was kind of like a dating game-type thing, but I was picking a guy for him,” she said. “It was funny. It was literally like stepping into a frat house!”

Although she made a cameo on Jenner’s show, she said she has no plans “as of now” to appear on Whitney Port’s The City.

“She is working so hard right now. I’m really proud of her,” Conrad said.

Will there be another season of The Hills?

“I actually don’t know if I’m allowed to say,” she said. “So maybe!”

“I want to make it very clear to family, friends and fans that the decision to marry Spencer was very much mine. It was a beautiful day, and I’ve never been happier,” Heidi tells Usmagazine.com exclusively. “For someone who wasn’t even there to suggest otherwise is extremely disappointing.”

Her mother tells Us she gives the marriage six months, but Heidi says, “I look forward to everyone seeing the footage of our time in Mexico on The Hills, so they can see for themselves what a joyous occasion it was.”

And what about questions of the foreign union’s legality? Pratt says he’s heading to the courthouse.

“I’m on it. In my mind, it’s as legal as the ring on my finger,” he tells the new issue of Us Weekly. “But I wouldn’t want everyone going around saying, ‘It’s not real.’”
