Ahahahahha… thanks for the laugh, Spencer.
Reality show players-turned super couple Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt won’t settle for being a sideshow on The Hills. Wannabe pop star Heidi, 21, is prepping for worldwide fame as she moves forward from her homemade music video, “Higher,” to her next professionally mastered single, which is being recorded this month.
“The next thing is to really focus on her new music and get her onstage and on a world tour,” Spencer, 24, who is also Heidi’s manager, tells In Touch. Although Heidi considers herself an original act, she plans to take performance cues from some of the world biggest superstars, like Britney Spears, Madonna and Michael Jackson, says Spencer.
“What we want for Heidi is for her to perform like they do,” Spencer reveals to In Touch. “She could have these huge, unbelievable, explosive performances, with pyrotechnics and lots of costume changes.” “Heidi isn’t going to let what people say stop her from being a huge star,” Spencer tells In Touch.

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have more than just music in the works.
“We’re definitely developing the Heidi and Spencer video game,” Pratt told Usmagazine.com last week at video game giant Electronic Arts’ Burnout Paradise pre-Valentine’s Day lounge in L.A.
Pratt, who said he is collaborating with EA on the game, told Us, “it’s top secret. Let’s just say that everyone will be addicted.”
Good news to those who love-to-hate The Hills pair: “You can definitely play as us or you can play against us,” Pratt said. “You can even torture me.”
He said “there’s going to be two versions: the adult version and the one for minors,” adding, “just be ready, that’s all I have to say.”
Expect the game to hit shelves in 2009, Pratt said, “right around Christmastime, probably.”

Over the weekend, the Hills’ Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt ventured east and headed to the Borgata Hotel & Casino where they hosted Saturday night at Murmur. Before heading inside to listen to the sounds of DJ Eric Cubiche, OK! sat down with the dazzling couple.
How is your weekend going?
Spencer: We’ve had two of the best dinners: one at Bobby Flay and the other at SeaBlue.
What was it like directing Heidi in her video for Higher?
S: She really directed herself. She was like ‘I’m going to do this’ and it was so much fun. It took us 20 minutes. We were already at the beach, we had a boom box with batteries, and I was playing it so she could hear it and sing along. It cost $0. Anybody that says negative things about it, it’s like, give me $2 million and then let’s see.
And what was it like being in a bathing suit? Were you intimidated that the world is going to see you like that?
H: I love the beach, love being in bathing suits. I feel like it was another day at the beach pretty much.
You looked great in it. I want the stomach and the body!
S: Heidi does more sit-ups than Van Damme. Throughout the day, all day.
H: I do a lot.
Heidi, who in Hollywood would you consider a beauty icon?
H: I think Charlize Theron is beautiful and Britney when she was “Britney.”
You have the abs that Britney used to!
H: (Laughing) Thank you!
Since your surgical procedures, do you feel you have more self-confidence?
H: I feel I’m more confident and more comfortable in my skin.
At least you admit it. Thanks for being honest and speaking up.
H: I’m sure every person in Hollywood from A list to Z list has had something done.
Spencer, what is the sexiest part about Heidi?
S: Hands down, her personality. There are 3 billion girls on the planet and they all look different, and Heidi has the biggest heart and has the most faith. She prays for anybody all day. I’ll find her on the floor praying and I’ll ask, who are you praying for, and she’ll say everybody. That is the kind of person I want in my life. Praying for me and my family and our enemies and our friends. That’s what I love about Heidi.
What is your status right now?
S: The status is that I can’t afford the $2 million ring that Miss Montag is looking for.
Take the money for the next video and put it toward the ring!
S: There you go!
H: It’s not enough!

Despite receiving anything but positive reviews, Heidi Montag’s debut single “Higher” reached No. 7 on the iTunes Top 10 pop chart.
“Looks like all the haters are also buying it!” The Hills star tells Us Weekly in its latest issue, on newsstands now.
But the negative responses – “Makes me feel uncontrollably ill,” “beyond pathetic,” and “the crappiest video I have ever seen” were just some of the comments posted on Usmagazine.com – humiliated Montag.
“I just started sobbing uncontrollably,” The Hills star tells Us.
“I cried myself to sleep that first night after my video came out,” she says. “I just couldn’t understand why people I didn’t even know felt the need to be so cruel and hurtful toward me.”
“I am just a 21-year-old from a small town in Colorado trying to follow her dreams,” Montag says.
Boyfriend Spencer Pratt, the director of the video, was there for support. “I just held her and told her it was going to be OK,” he tells Us. “This is just part of being an artist. If it were easy, everyone would be a pop star.”
How did the video concept come to be?
“We were at the beach and, literally, Spencer had his camera and a boom box in the trunk,” Montag recalls of the amateur shoot in October. “We did it in one take, maybe two, and it took us 20 minutes to film and cost us zero dollars.”
“We had other ideas but we couldn’t afford them,” Montag says.

When Heidi Montag’s music video for the song “Higher” debuted this week, there was a strong and unified reaction across the Web. But it’s not the kind of reaction you would expect someone to appreciate. Now, Heidi is thanking people for their comments — even the nasty ones.
Although some PEOPLE.com readers called “Higher” the “worst video ever,” and said her voice sounds like a “chipmunk,” Montag recorded the following message on the gossip site Perez Hilton:
“I appreciate people taking time to write any kind of comment. Do you know how much effort it really takes to sit down and write a comment? I’ve never written a comment in my entire life… you really have to have a lot of passion and thought to write any comment, so thank you.”
Heidi’s former fiancé Spencer Pratt, who shot the “Higher” video, had his own theory as to why it got the reaction it did.
“She’s so beautiful and she’s an unbelievable singer,” he says. “The quality of music and the music video has never been seen before.”

“Higher” is directed by her Hills beau Spencer Pratt.
Man, I love a good laugh. This video is certainly that.
