Heidi Montag and her haggard face at her 25th birthday party!

Heidi Montag turns 25 – while her face turns four! Heidi is looking like a hot mess these days. It’s sad that she’s 25 – and yet she looks ten years older than that.

Heidi, who has been out of the spotlight for months (hasn’t it been nice?), stepped out this weekend to celebrate her 25ht birthday. She and husband Spencer (yes, they’re still together) celebrated amongst friends at a club called Vanity in Las Vegas. You can see pics of Spencer here, man, he’s looking tore up these days! He looks like he’s on something… I don’t know if it’s drugs – or booze – but he definitely looks bad.

PS: The couple charged $20 – $40 a head to join them at the party.

Heidi Montag & Spencer Pratt: Broke in a $5 Million Home

Lately, reality fall offs Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have been making the media rounds claiming that the couple are poverty stricken, but it’s been reported that for the past year the pair have been calling their $5 million Santa Barbara mansion home. The property is actually owned by Spencer’s parents, William and Jane, but still, you are doing too bad for a married couple that seems to be broke.

A source told RadarOnline.com:

“They may have blown through their cash but Heidi and Spencer are hardly slumming it are they?

“Spencer spends most of his time reading his wacky books while Heidi likes to tan herself on the deck.

“They occasionally hit the beach but Spencer always makes a sweep first with his binoculars because he is paranoid that spies are watching them.

“He even asked some paparazzi photographers that he used to work with if he could buy one of their long lenses so he could take some images for himself because he thought people were spying on them.

“Spencer did his best to keep their location top secret while they tried to get their careers back on track.”

To top it all of, in a recent interview, the pair admitted theat their very public break-up, divorce, and reconciliation were all staged for publicity:

Spencer revealed: “At that point we were pulling our last cards – we felt the hot air balloon losing its gas. And at that stage our income would be selling the photo that would go along with the divorce.”

Maybe Heidi shouldn’t have spent $2 million on her ‘pop music career’ and tossing cash around, trying to keep up with the Jones’.

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt claim fame destroyed their lives.

Reality TV stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt confess to The Daily Beast that their lives totally changed after the end of The Hills in 2010.

“We were living each other’s mistakes. Everything we were doing, in retrospect, was a mistake. The second we continued on our quest for fame was a mistake,” Pratt, 27, says. “This isn’t a business. That was the big thing I didn’t get: Reality TV is not a career. Anyone who says, ‘Oh, you can have a career in reality’ — that is a lie.”

To prove their point, Montag and Pratt call out Paris Hilton, whose third reality show, The World According to Paris, debuted to dismal ratings in June.

Paris Hilton created fame for nothing. The fact that only 400,000 people tuned into her premiere? We’re Paris Hilton fans,” Pratt says. “She didn’t make all these surgery mistakes. . . she didn’t do any of that. But here she is. Her career stopped.”

Life without The Hills has certainly cost them. Currently living rent-free with Pratt’s parents, Montag, 24, realizes that she “should have kept every dollar that I had.” (The Colorado native famously dropped thousands on more than 13 cosmetic procedures since 2007.)

“Obviously I wish I didn’t do it,” Montag says. “I would go back and not have any surgery. It doesn’t help. I got too caught up in Hollywood, being so into myself and my image. I don’t regret anything, but if I could go back, I wouldn’t do it.”

Changing her physical appearance was meant to raise her profile, Montag explains. “I thought I was investing in myself and my brand, like Kim Kardashian. When she buys these clothes, she’s investing in herself, because she is a big brand and is likable. I thought I had that potential. My ego got too big. To think I could be someone like that when I was the most hated girl ever.”

In addition to squandering $2 million on Montag’s failed music career, Pratt estimates he spent $1 million on his wardrobe alone. “I would never wear that again,” he says. “They’re props. Everything we were doing, we were buying props. I bought a big blue monster truck just to drive it on The Hills for an episode. Never drove it again.”

The problem with being on The Hills, they claim, is that the semi-scripted nature of the show blurred the line between fiction and reality.

“We were all getting paid to be people we weren’t for so long that you stop — there’s no line,” Spencer says. “The gauge is gone. The gray area is gone. We got so deep with how many storylines we had to do to continue the machine.”

“I thought when this was all over, I could get on an interview and say, ‘It was all entertainment,’” Pratt continues. “I thought I was the Wizard of Oz, like, I’m the guy behind the curtain.”

According to Pratt, he and his wife were eventually “banned from the premieres, banned from the finale parties. And If you’re banned from your own show. . .it really gives you this feeling of inadequacy.”

These days, the two live a much simpler lifestyle than the one that The Hills afford them. “It’s like what 70-year-olds do,” Pratt says. “We’re reading a lot of books.”

Adds Montag: “We’re watching movies. I do a lot of laundry. A lot of laundry. We’re training our dogs, so I’m cleaning up less poop inside, which is great.”

Could this be the real end of the fame monster known as Speidi? Have they actually learned from there past mistakes or is this just another act? What do you think?

Heidi Montag claims she works out 14 hours a day to look like this!

Heidi Montag showed up at Las Vegas’ Wet Republic for a party, and showed off her toned up body.

“I’ve been working out from, like, 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. for two months now. I’ve been working out really hard because I had this pool party and I was like, I have to be in shape,” she told Us Weekly. “And I was actually a lot overweight. It was the most I’ve ever been because I’ve kind of been in hiding eating pie with my husband and puppies, so I needed to get back in shape.”

At her heaviest, the 5’2″ reality star claimed she weighed 130 pounds; she’s currently back down to 103. How did the Hills alum lose 27 pounds so quickly?

“I’ve been running a lot, and I’ve been doing weights,” she said. “When you work out, you boost your metabolism, so you have to [make sure you eat enough].”

Montag — who listed pie and fried chicken as her weaknesses — said she’s been noshing on apples, cherries and salads to slim down. After famously undergoing 10 cosmetic surgeries in late 2009, Montag added that decided to take a year off from the gym.
VIDEO: Heidi defends her hubby Spencer Pratt

“My breasts, because they’re so big, really needed some time,” she explained. “So I’m just starting to work out again after my surgery. Sometimes I get shooting pains, but I hear that’s normal.”

Spencer Pratt banned from the set of Heidi Montag’s new show!

Not only was Spencer Pratt deemed the “least likable celebrity” by E-Poll Research earlier this month, but the former “Hills” villain evidently is just as deplored by his wife’s circle of colleagues. According to TMZ.com, producers of Heidi Montag’s new VH1 show, “Famous Food,” have banned her hubby from coming near production.

“We’re told producers were adamant…Spencer wasn’t allowed on the set, near the set, or to be involved in any way whatsoever,” the site reports.

I’m surprised they’re still together!

PHOTOS: Heidi Montag and Danielle Staub film their reality show in Los Angeles

Heidi Montag stepped out in Hollywood over the weekend for a shopping spree with her new reality-tv costar, Danielle Staub.

24-year-old Heidi shopped at Lisa Klein on Robertson Blvd.

Heidi’s new show will chronicle the life of her and husband Spencer Pratt as they attempt to open a new restaurant.

Not sure how ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ “star” Danielle fits into all this, but I guess we’ll soon find out!

Heidi is in the process of filming a new show which chronicles the life of her and husband Spencer Pratt as they attempt to open a new restaurant.

Although Spencer, 27, was not present for the girls only shopping outing, he was jointly responsible for the couple spending the millions of dollars they earned from their roles on MTV show The Hills and various public appearances.

Heidi Montag lands new VH1 reality show!

Yesterday I posted pictures of Heidi Montag, Jake Pavelka and Danielle Staub having lunch together. Not just any lunch, the get together was filmed for a reality show. Today we learn what the troubled trio were doing together!

According to People, the threesome are starring in a reality show about revamping restaurants from the ground up.

Jake Pavelka, Danielle Staub, Heidi Montag and other reality alumni are all going into the food business together for an upcoming series that places some big personalities under heavy pressure, PEOPLE has learned.

“They are revamping a restaurant from the ground up,” says a source on the set of the new reality series, slated to air on VH1. “They started shooting this past weekend.”

On the show, the cast will be tasked with opening a restaurant in just 28 days.

The stars, who filmed Tuesday at Café Med in West Hollywood, have remained tight-lipped, with Staub announcing on Twitter: “I’m working on a project. Let you know soon what and with whom!! Xxoo.”

Pavelka also tweeted Tuesday, “Crazy fun day of shooting!”
