“Halle Berry had a 7lb 4 oz girl at 10:17am Sunday morning, March 16, at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles,” an insider tells Star. “The actress had checked into the hospital for the second time that day after feeling contractions earlier Saturday morning.”

It was widely reported that Halle’s due date was Valentine’s Day - so we’re a couple weeks late, if that’s the case.  If not - she’s gotta be due any day now.

Even though she’s pregnant with his child, Halle Berry’s not ready to marry her boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry — but she was ready to accept a wedding ring from him. Halle is pregnant with her first child, and to celebrate the upcoming birth of their baby, Gabriel, 32, bought her a Cartier paved diamond eternity platinum band ring in early January. “It’s gorgeous,” an insider says of the $10,000 bauble. “The diamonds aren’t huge but they are perfectly cut and sparkle.” The insider adds that even though they’re not legally wed, Halle and Gabriel consider themselves married in every other way. “Gabriel gave Halle the ring to symbolize their commitment.” According to Halle, 41, every time she looks at Gabriel now, she thinks, “That’s my baby’s daddy.” Halle was seen showing off her new bling at a Cartier event in LA on January 5.

The Hollywood beauty proudly holds her stomach as she poses in a figure-revealing white Donna Karan dress for the cover of InStyle magazine in the U.S.

Asked how she is feeling, she says: “Fantastic! Right now I have so much joy and energy. I can just go and go and go.”

She also thinks she looks more beautiful than ever.

“My skin is aglow from all the hormones,” she says proudly. “I actually wear less make-up now, which is really good.

“I want to stay pregnant forever.”

Halle also says she wants the birth to be spectacular as it may be her only pregnancy. “I may only do this one time, so I want the moment to be as big as it can be. I want the biggest bang I can imagine.”

She says the baby will have boyfriend Gabriel Aubry’s surname - but they will not come up with a first name until the child is born.
“People are always saying, ‘You mean you haven’t picked out a name yet? But I don’t know how you name a baby until you meet it,” she said.
