Gwyneth Paltrow to sing “F–k You” on ‘Glee’!

When Gwyneth Paltrow makes her Glee cameo in two weeks, she’ll be singing Cee Lo Green’s “F–k You”. The song will be tamed down to “Forget You” – which isn’t half as fun, but it is a network show, after all.

Can’t wait to see it!

Gwyneth Paltrow starts filming her ‘Glee’ episode!

“We shot some stuff with her,” said Harry Shum Jr., the awesome actor/dancer who plays Mike Chang on the hit series. E! talked to him last night at the launch of Ubisoft video game Just Dance 2. “She’s been great.”

Shum was tightlipped about the storyline, but said “We kind of just showed up on set and were like, ‘Oh, hi Gwyneth Paltrow.’ She’s really sweet, really classy. You look at someone who’s an Oscar-winning actress and you think they’re going to act a certain way and she’s just a regular person.”

Considering her recent jump into country music, we think it’s safe to assume that Paltrow will be showing off her vocal chops on the show. Shum said, “I’d love for her to sing.”

As for getting some onscreen romancing with Mr. Shuester (Matthew Morrison), Shum said, “You see her in Iron Man and she plays…the semi-love, semi-good friend [and] semi-boss. I think she can play it all.”

Watch Gwyneth Paltrow’s new music video!

Gwyneth Paltrow spent months immersing herself in the Nashville scene for her role as an alcoholic country star in Country Strong. And it seems to have paid off, as Paltrow hits it out of the park in this video for the upcoming film’s title song.

It’s a performance that wouldn’t be out of place on CMT – or at Ryman Auditorium, for that matter.

Luckily, Paltrow, 38, was able to rely on husband Chris Martin, 33, the Coldplay frontman, for some musical pointers. As she told Harper’s Bazaar this past spring: “He was so helpful, so sweet and encouraging.”

She even had to learn to play guitar from scratch. “I mean, it’s embarrassing to be playing in front of your husband,” she says, “especially when he’s in one of the world’s most successful bands.”

The “Country Strong” single has been released to country radio. The movie will be out in limited release in the U.S. on Dec. 22, and in wide release on Jan. 7.

Director offered Gwyneth Paltrow sex for a movie role!

Gwyneth Paltrow opens up in the new Women in Hollywood issue from Elle Magazine. The magazine released three covers; Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson and Hilary Swank. The women opened up about past Hollywood struggles and where the women are today.

Paltrow, 37, explains how her road to success wasn’t always easy.

“When I was just starting out, someone suggested that we finish a meeting in the bedroom,” she reveals. “I left. I was pretty shocked. I could see how someone who didn’t know better might worry, ‘My career will be ruined if I don’t give this guy a blow job!’”

She says she sometimes feels “dejected” when she looks at roles being offered to women nowadays.

“There’s a lot that’s okay, but there’s little that’s really good, especially for someone my age,” she says. “Sometimes you find out that something you really liked is going to someone 10 years younger. I find it heartening that Meryl Streep and Sandra Bullock have been able to find and create amazing projects.”

“Apart from the fact that she’s my mother, she’s a brilliant comedian and a force as a producer,” she says. “She paved the way for women to produce and star in their own films and to balance that with being the matriarch of our family is really inspiring.”

She says she agrees with Paltrow that great roles for women “tend to be dispensable. I have faith that we can make female-driven films that are as interesting to men as they are to women.”

Swank, meanwhile, says she can still get her hands on meaty roles.

Take her new drama Conviction, for instance, in which she plays a poor woman who becomes a lawyer to get her brother off death row

“I’d put Conviction up there with Million Dollar Baby as two of my best experiences,” says the two-time Oscar winner, 36. “Sam Rockwell and I had some scenes where the director yelled and we were dropped back on Earth. You literally go someplace else. That does not happen very often.”

Gwyneth Paltrow to guest star on ‘Glee’!!

Glee just nailed down an Oscar winner!

E! is reporting that Gwyneth Paltrow has signed on to guest star in two November episode’s of the FOX hit, Glee!

Gwyneth will sing and dance when she makes her Glee appearance. And guess who she’ll be playing? A love interest for Matthew Morrison’s characher, Will Schuester!

According to rock-solid Glee sources, Gwyneth will play a substitute teacher in two episodes airing in November. Mr. Schuester gets sick, so Gwyneth’s character steps in and takes over the Glee club. The kids love her, and Will starts to fall for her…complicating his relationship with Emma (Jayma Mays).

Gwyneth has a thing for musicals. She first sang “Cruisin” karaoke with Huey Lewis in 2000′s Duets, and next up she’ll play an alcoholic country singer in December’s Country Strong. Hopefully Country Strong will be better than Duets, but I’m not sure if that’s going to happen by the looks of the trailer.

Trailer Time! Check out Gwyneth Paltrow as an alcoholic country singer!

So I just watched this trailer, and call me crazy – but isn’t this the same movie as last year’s Crazy Heart? Gwyneth Paltrow plays a washed-up country singer who attempts to regain her career after an alcohol-fueled downward spiral. The film also stars Tim McGraw as her husband, and Leighton Meester playing the hot new country singer.

The movie looks like it could be good, but I’m not convinced Gwyneth Paltrow was the right choice. She’s kind of annoying in the trailer! I hope the movie is good, I love country music movies (even though I’m not a country music fan!).

This movie has a very familiar feel. Looks and feels like about a dozen movies I’ve already seen (Crazy Heart, Walk the Line, Pure Country - to name a few). Tim McGraw’s hair piece is just about as bad as wigs get…just let the poor man be bald. I’d rather stare at a bald head that a road-kill looking wig!

What do you think of the trailer?
