As I reported last night, Gwen Stefani and her rock star husband Gavin Rossdale are expecting their second child, Rossdale’s father confirms to PEOPLE.

“They and the whole family are delighted,” Douglas Rossdale said.

Reps for Stefani were not immediately available for comment.

According to Britain’s The Sun, the singer is 13 weeks pregnant. She has long said she’s wanted another child.

Stefani, 38, and British-born Rossdale, 40, wed in London in September 2002 and have one of the coolest kids in showbiz: Kingston Rossdale, who turns 2 on May 26.

Stefani has described Kingston as a “chilled-out little guy. He’s just like another person, except that he’s super-cute and super-entertaining.”

When it comes to his son, Rossdale recently said, “Finally, I got something right.”

Grandpa Rossdale sings Kingston’s praises too. “He is a great lad,” says the senior Rossdale. “And we are very much looking forward to another grandchild.”

Gwen Stefani has confirmed she is 13 weeks pregnant with bambino number two.

The former NO DOUBT star and rocker husband GAVIN ROSSDALE are chuffed about having a brother or sister for their lad Kingston, one.

A source said: “They found out at California’s Cedars-Sinai hospital and couldn’t wait to share the news with everyone.”

Back in October Gwen revealed she was keen to have more kids.

She said: “Obviously I’m in a race to have another one but I don’t want to do it while I’m out on tour.”

And it looks like Gavin’s going to be run off his feet looking after her every whim now.

She added: “He makes whatever food I crave.”

Gwen Stefani is taking a detour from entertainment into charity, starting a college-scholarship fund for students affected by this fall’s California wildfires.

“When I heard about the devastation of the fires, at first I felt I should cancel my [San Diego] show out of respect,” Stefani, 38, said in a statement, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. “But then it occurred to me there might be a more useful solution.”

That led to the Gwen Stefani After-the-Fires Scholarship, which will benefit students who lost their homes or sources of income in the fires.

Details of the fund are still being worked out. Stefani also donated about $160,000 in proceeds from her Oct. 30 concert in San Diego to the San Diego Foundation fire-relief fund.

The wildfires raced through Southern California in late October and forced hundreds of thousands from their homes.

“Extra’s” Brooke Mueller, caught up with rocker Gavin Rossdale at the Bank of the West Pro-Celebrity Tennis Classic which raised money for special needs and underprivileged young organizations. Rossdale talked about his son, Kingston, how he and his wife, Gwen Stefani, maintain a relatively normal family life - and his passion for tennis. Rossdale even hinted that Kingston might have a sibling soon saying, “We’ll see what happens.”

In the middle of the interview, Rossdale’s son joined him on his lap which prompted this proud father to say, “This is Kingston. This is my greatest triumph. Finally, I got something right.” Rossdale’s wife, Gwen Stefani, has earned her own rock star status but whose music does Kingston prefer? “He was on tour with Gwen…He’d come and watch the show with me with the headphones on…He’s big on drums. He likes them both,” Rossdale responded.

Speaking of music, Rossdale informed “Extra” of his future plans saying, “I just finished a record that comes out next year. It’s a solo record.” With both Rossdale and Stefani in the spotlight, it’s hard to shield Kingston from the paparazzi but Rossdale said, “We made a conscious decision [to have a child]. We would have a baby and the baby joins our life. We don’t stop for his. If we were going to be followed by paparazzi, it doesn’t mean we would leave him home…we don’t take life too seriously.”

Rossdale revealed how his childhood dream changed from being a star on the court to a star on the stage, saying, “I enjoy tennis. I grew up wanting to be a tennis player. [But] when I was touring on the road, I stopped for a long time.”

In addition to playing tennis, Rossdale admitted that he enjoys being a chef saying, “I like to cook… and it’s a hobby you can share.” When asked what his specialties are, he responded, “Lots of Italian food and English food like roasts.”
