Seems strange that Green Day would have a song on the new ‘Twilight: Breaking Dawn 2’ soundtrack, doesn’t it?
Here we have the music video for “The Forgotten” which will be included on the final ‘Twilight’ soundtrack.
The newly released video for the track features a mashup of footage from “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2,” and Green Day performances. “The Forgotten,” which is a moody ballad reminiscent of the brooding love scenes between Bella and Edward, also appears on the band’s upcoming album “¡Tre!,” set to release Dec. 7.
The “Breaking Dawn Part 2” soundtrack, which debuts three days before the film’s Nov. 16 release date, also includes songs by Passion Pit, Ellie Goulding, and Feist.
I’m so ready to put this whole Twilight thing behind me….
Green Day‘s front man Billie Joe Armstrong has checked himself into rehab for substance abuse following an on-stage meltdown this weekend.
Armstrong went nuts on the stage at the iHeart Radio Music Festival this weekend. He was screaming obscenities, bashing Justin Bieber and smashing his guitar. The band’s rep issued a statement to TMZ: “Green day wants to apologize to those they offended at the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas.”
In a statement to The Associated Press, Green Day apologized “to those they offended at the iHeartRadio Festival” and said its set was not cut short by Clear Channel, the host of the two-day festival.
The Grammy winning band also is canceling some of its promotional appearances. It is due to release the album “Uno” on Tuesday, the follow-up to “21st Century Breakdown,” released three years ago. “Uno” is the first in a trilogy of albums; the second is to be out in November, and the last in January. The band is due to kick off a nationwide tour Nov. 26 in Seattle.
Hope he gets the help he needs! You can watch the video of Armstrong’s meltdown here!
