John Stamos Tweet’s picture from the ‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’ themed Glee episode!

Tonight’s Glee pays homage to The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and no one’s more excited about it than John Stamos. He just Tweeted this picture, from the set of tonight’s episode!

In a Glee-appropriate touch, cast members from the original 1975 film, Barry Bostwick and Meat Loaf, make cameo appearances in tonight’s episode as the ultraconservative managers of a local TV station.

John Stamos reprises his recurring Glee role as Dr. Carl – he’s not a doctor, technically, but a dentist – who’s determined to win over guidance counsellor Emma Pillsbury (Jayma Mays), even if it means humiliating himself in a high-school musical to do it.

In tonight’s outing, Dr. Carl is expected to burst through a wall on a motorcycle and belt out Meat Loaf’s Whatever Happened to Saturday Night.

Check out ‘Glee’ star Mark Salling’s new music video!!

Here’s the new music video for Mark Salling’s (Glee) new single, Illusions.

Mark, who plays Puck on Glee, is about to launch his solo album, Pipe Dreams. Definitely not a fan of Mark’s music – I prefer to listen to Puck.

What do you think?

Dianna Agron apologizes over GQ cover, sorta

Dianna Agron blogged about the controversy Wednesday night, apologizing to anyone who might be “hurt” or “uncomfortable” by the shot. She stressed, “We are not the first” public figures to pose provocatively.

“Nobody is perfect, and these photos do not represent who I am,” she wrote, adding that GQ “asked us to play very heightened versions of our school characters. A ‘Hit Me Baby One More Time’ version. At the time, it wasn’t my favorite idea, but I did not walk away.”

If parents are upset over the magazine, it is their job to keep it away from their children, not hers.

“If your 8-year-old has a copy of our GQ cover in hand, again I am sorry,” she wrote. “But I would have to ask, how on earth did it get there?”

Gwyneth Paltrow starts filming her ‘Glee’ episode!

“We shot some stuff with her,” said Harry Shum Jr., the awesome actor/dancer who plays Mike Chang on the hit series. E! talked to him last night at the launch of Ubisoft video game Just Dance 2. “She’s been great.”

Shum was tightlipped about the storyline, but said “We kind of just showed up on set and were like, ‘Oh, hi Gwyneth Paltrow.’ She’s really sweet, really classy. You look at someone who’s an Oscar-winning actress and you think they’re going to act a certain way and she’s just a regular person.”

Considering her recent jump into country music, we think it’s safe to assume that Paltrow will be showing off her vocal chops on the show. Shum said, “I’d love for her to sing.”

As for getting some onscreen romancing with Mr. Shuester (Matthew Morrison), Shum said, “You see her in Iron Man and she plays…the semi-love, semi-good friend [and] semi-boss. I think she can play it all.”

Just In! GQ responds to The Parents Television Council!

“The Parents Television Council must not be watching much TV these days and should learn to divide reality from fantasy,” Jim Nelson, editor-in-chief of GQ, said. “As often happens in Hollywood, these ‘kids’ are in their twenties. Cory Montieth’s almost 30! I think they’re old enough to do what they want.”

Parents Group says GQ ‘Glee’ cover “borders on pedophilia”

According to The Parents Television Council, the latest GQ photo shoot has gone too far. The ‘Glee’ girls appear in the magazine half dressed. See the full photo shoot here. Read the statement they posted:

“It is disturbing that GQ, which is explicitly written for adult men, is sexualizing the actresses who play high school-aged characters on ‘Glee’ in this way. It borders on pedophilia. Sadly, this is just the latest example of the overt sexualization of young girls in entertainment,” said PTC President Tim Winter.

“Many children who flocked to ‘High School Musical’ have grown into ‘Glee’ fans. They are now being treated to seductive, in-your-face poses of the underwear-clad female characters posing in front of school lockers, one of them opting for a full-frontal crotch shot. By authorizing this kind of near-pornographic display, the creators of the program have established their intentions on the show’s direction. And it isn’t good for families.

“While this photo shoot and the direction of the show in its second season have caught many parents off guard, we were concerned this might be coming. ‘Glee’ creator Ryan Murphy has declared that it is his goal in life to remove every barrier to the depiction of explicit sex on TV. On Bravo’s ‘Sex in the Box’ Murphy said, ‘It’s tough to get that sexual point of view across on television. Hopefully I have made it possible for somebody on broadcast television to do a rear-entry scene in three years. Maybe that will be my legacy.’

“With a demonstrated market of eager fans for an entertaining, musical-themed program like ‘Glee,’ we wonder why the show’s creators feel the need for such graphic sexualization of women. Interestingly, the photos of the male character showed him wearing a shirt, tie and vest.

“Parents need to be on guard as we expect the show to push the envelope even further. Unfortunately, it seems ‘Glee’ is only masquerading as family show and is far from appropriate for young viewers,” Winter concluded.

Even the Glee stars are surprised by the GQ shoot, titled “Glee Gone Wild!”

“I don’t know how they got me to do half the stuff I did” for the GQ shoot, said Michele. “But I was in really good shape this summer, so…”

Said Agron: “I’ve never been shot in so little clothing.”
