Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler look hotter than ever on the April cover of W magazine.

But the shoot — which took place in mid-January on a ranch about 45 minutes outside of L.A. — was rough.

“That was one of the most uncomfortable positions to be completely honest,” The Bounty Hunter star, 41, said on ABC’s Good Morning America Monday when asked about the cover. “My leg on the left [was] asleep. Gerry’s right foot is sound asleep, the pain expression on my face is kind of real.”

Celeb shutterbug Steven Klein shot the two. He was also the mastermind behind W’s infamous July 2005 cover featuring Brad Pitt – who had then-just split from Aniston – and Angelina Jolie as a 1960′s-style married couple.

When told that her W magazine cover had people chattering, Aniston coyly replied, “I wonder why.”

As for the scrutiny over her love life, she said she tries to ignore what others say.

“Of course, I hear about it!” she said. “You have to get better over time. You have to sort of build up a tough skin.

After shooting a movie with demanding action scenes, it’s tough not to bond with your costar – especially if she’s Jennifer Aniston.

“I literally became a member of her family,” Gerard Butler told People of his Bounty Hunter costar at their film’s London premiere Thursday night. Just don’t confuse that closeness for something romantic. “I went down for her birthday in Mexico,” Butler said. “Of course, everyone takes that as something else, but we are very good friends.”

And Aniston reciprocates those feelings. She called Butler, “the best!” Stepping out on the red carpet in a strapless, silver Valentino Couture minidress – despite subzero temperatures – she added, “He’s funny and handsome – [a] nice combo!”

The two, who recently posed for a rugged, sexy W magazine cover, had to endure some grueling physical challenges while shooting their action comedy, which is due in theaters March 19. Turns out, Butler isn’t quite as macho he appears onscreen. “I’m like a baby about that stuff – I’m always whining,” he said.

But that wasn’t the case with his sexy costar. Though she spends most of the action flick bound and cuffed, Aniston was anything but hapless during the film’s more high-octane scenes. “She’s dragging doors behind her, and her handcuffs are cutting away at her wrists,” Butler said. “She had to go through a lot of stuff in this movie and she never complained.”

Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler leave in separate cars after dining at Asia De Cuba together for a private dinner after their “Bounty Hunter” film premiere. Jennifer was driven out of the garage after the meal at 10pm and was driven in through the garage of her hotel. Gerard joined members of his family for a night out at Bungalow 8 and left at 3.30am. Then Butler went straight back to his hotel afterwards.

I don’t buy into the rumors that the two of them are a couple. I think they do it all for publicity (shocking, I know). I probably feel this way in part because I think Gerard is a total man-whore, and I don’t like him anymore (not since Ugly Truth, 90 minutes of pure hell).

They put on a good show, though, don’t they? I love Jennifer Aniston. I want her to hook up with… hmm, who shall it be? Who would Jennifer look good standing next to? (Part of me wants her to pry Brad Pitt out of Angelina Jolie’s cold, boney hands!) How about Matthew Goode? Yeah, they’d be cute! Look at those legs! She’s hot!

Madonna and Gerard Butler had a dance-off at a post-Oscars party.

The ‘Material Girl’ singer helped host the bash at manager Guy Oseary’s Los Angeles home following the prestigious ceremony on Sunday night and was clearly in a party mood so couldn’t resist when the handsome actor challenged her dancing skills.

A source said: “Madonna and Gerard were grinding on the dance floor before getting into a dance-off. It was hilarious.”

As well as Gerard, Madonna also showcased her dance moves with Gabourey Sidibe, who earlier missed out to Sandra Bullock in the Best Actress category.

A source said: “Madonna danced non-stop for four hours. She and Gabourey were dancing together at one point. They had a great time. This was the Oscar party to be at this year.”

Demi Moore co-hosted the party with Madonna, which was attended by a host of stars, including Demi’s husband Ashton Kutcher, P. Diddy, Renee Zellweger, Bradley Cooper and Taylor Lautner.

As well as some entertaining dance moves, the 300 guests were treated to a late-night Indian takeaway as well as enjoying a cocktail created by Demi and Madonna especially for the party.

‘The Bounty Hunter’ co-stars Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston get down and dirty — seriously dirty — in the desert for a new photoshoot in W.

In the magazine’s huge layout, Gerard plays lawman while Jen struts around in some sexy lingerie.

The on-screen collaboration of the rumored off-screen couple, which hits theaters March 19, follows Butler’s bounty hunter as he tries to bring his ex, played by Aniston, to jail.

Hair stylist to the ‘Friends’ star, Chris McMillan, talked to the magazine about Jen’s hair for this shoot.

“We left her hair dirty. It just created a nice chunky texture. The key to Jennifer’s hair is no matter what you do with it — straight, frizzy, dirty — it looks like it actually grows out of her head. She’s someone for whom her hair doesn’t wear her, she wears it,” he describes.

McMillan makes no apologies for the different side of Aniston people will see in W.

“They’re going to be talking s**t as usual, but who cares? We don’t care about that,” he says.
