In case you didn’t know, talk show host George Lopez made fun of ‘Dancing With The Stars’ contestant Kirstie Alley on his show Tuesday night (March 22)… and compared the actress to a PIG!

“She did a nice job, her little hooves tapping away,” Lopez said comparing Alley to a pig. “Before the show she went to the market, then she had roast beef, and this is her going all the way home,” he continued while showing a video of a squealing pig from a recent Geico commercial.

Well, Lopez has come forward to publicly apologize to Alley… but not on his show.

On Twitter, of course!

“I misjudged the joke,” Lopez tweeted last night. “No malice was intended and I apologize to Kirstie.”

While tweeting the apology rather than delivering it on-air (which is where he spat out the original so-called joke) was actually quite fitting, as it was via Twitter that Alley finally addressed the mean-spirited dig yesterday afternoon.

“Don’t worry about George’s comments…just remember what happens to the big bad drunk woolf…falls in a boiling pot of vodka,” she wrote. “Piggy laughs.”

Kirstie Alley is a woman who has been open to the public about her battle of weight. She estimates she will lose 10 pounds on top of the 60 she already lost prior to entering the ‘DWTS’ contest.

I’m glad Kirstie was able to laugh it off and respond back to George!

According to TMZ, George Lopez, and his wife Ann, are divorcing after 17 years of marriage.

They reportedly both made the decision to split, and have been working out the details for some time.

They have one child, a 15-year-old daughter.

Boo…another one bites the dust.

The National Enquirer is reporting that a Florida hooker has come forward and claimed that George Lopez paid her for sex and requested threesomes with her and another woman.

The hooker, who goes by the name of Tiffany, says Lopez texted her for sex and paid for it – and also had sex with a friend of the hooker.

Lopez, who has been married Ann Serrano since 1993, has been publicly backing Sandra Bullock during her marital troubles with Jesse James.

His wife saved his life several years ago by donating a kidney when a genetic condition caused his to deteriorate.
