Sarah Larson is grateful for her relationship with Hollywood actor George Clooney - because it has helped boost her career.

The couple ended their year-long romance in May and since the split, former cocktail waitress Larson has landed a string of high profile modelling assignments.

She is now the face of fashion designer Christian Audigier’s new line and is in talks to sign several more high profile contracts.

And although the 29-year-old is sad about the break-up, she admits the relationship has definitely changed her life for the better.
She says, “I’m very happy with how things are now. I have a lot of great opportunities, doors that have opened and I have no complaints.

“I make good money, I have a house, I have all the things I’ve always wanted.”

Larson is also determined to help use her new found fame to do more charity work.

She adds, “I’ve never had the desire to really want fame, and now that I have it, I’m trying to use it for something good.”

Actor George Clooney certainly knows how to stay on good terms with his exes, if a new interview with Sarah Larson is anything to go by.

Clooney split with the former cocktail waitress in May after a year together. But if anyone expected her to be bitter about losing her grip on Hollywood’s most eligible bachelor, think again.

“George is a great guy, a wonderful person. I don’t regret spending time with him and he’s a great person to get to know.

“We still remain friends and have kept in touch. In fact, we spoke over the phone a couple of days ago. He’s fun to be around, down to earth, laid back, funny and smart,” she gushed to Hello! magazine.

And the Ocean’s Eleven star is apparently a man of hidden talents.

“Most people know George has a great sense of humor and is an adept storyteller, but I will always miss his extraordinary dance moves,” Larson said.

The 29-year-old met Clooney while waitressing in a Las Vegas cocktail bar.

Thanks to their relationship, however, she is now moving on to bigger and better things.

“I have a lot of great opportunities, doors that have opened, and I have no complaints.

“I make good money. I have a house. I have all the things I’ve always wanted. I’m in a good place,” she said.

“I’ve had some amazing offers come in, including one modelling campaign that may bring me to England soon.

“I can’t talk about it yet because it’s not a done deal. I hope it happens because I’ve never been to England and I’d love to spend some time there.

“If I do end up there I could find a nice British boy. I’d be open to the idea. I hear they have a good sense of humor.”

George Clooney has confessed he has no idea what his forthcoming film Burn After Reading is about.

The actor, 47, admits he is baffled by the plot of the “dark spy comedy” and when he tries to get an explanation from directors Joel and Ethan Coen, they just laugh at him.

He says, “I tell the Coens that I don’t understand it and they go, ‘Yeah… heh, heh, heh’. I seem to play another idiot, who is having an affair with Tilda Swinton.”

But Clooney is keen to get to the bottom of the plot - the movie is due to open the Venice Film Festival in Italy next month.

George Clooney and Brad Pitt have launched a major advertising campaign in a bid to help victims of Tropical Cyclone Nargis in Southeast Asia.

The pair has already donated $500,000 to U.S. pressure group Not On Our Watch to fund the ongoing aid efforts in Myanmar, Burma after last month’s disaster, which left thousands dead and more than a million homeless.

And now Clooney and Pitt have joined forces with leading Asian political figures to run a massive advertising campaign in an Indonesian newspaper - urging neighbouring countries to allow foreign aid workers into the region.

George Clooney is making sure he leaves things on good terms with his ex-girlfriend Sarah Larson.

“A friend of ours who just got married is using George’s house in Lake Como, Italy, right now for her honeymoon,” Sarah’s friend Andrea Tiede tells Life & Style. “Obviously, this was arranged when Sarah and George were still dating. But he cares about Sarah, so I wasn’t surprised he honored the offer of his house.”

George, 47, and Sarah, 29, split before the wedding, so Sarah had to go alone. “It’s been hard,” says Andrea. “All breakups are hard. She was swept up. They just had a few small fights and disagreements, and it all unraveled from there.”

George Clooney broke up with his model girlfriend, Sarah Larson, shortly after she had a breast augmentation in mid-May.

Was surgery the final straw in their already fractured relationship? “George really didn’t want her to get the boob job,” an insider says. But she needed a place to rest after the operation. “She asked George if she could do her recovery at his house and he agreed,” says the insider.

Although the couple made a last appearance together at a Metropolitan Museum of Art gala on May 5 in New York, the relationship was already on the rocks. “He wanted to break up with her but she had an Armani gown custom-made,” says the insider. “He didn’t want to be a jerk, so he took her to be nice.” But the romance lasted just a few more weeks.

Despite the split, the 29-year-old former cocktail waitress is pleased with her new look. Revealing no signs of heartache, Sarah showed off her curvier figure at the Palms Place Hotel and Spa opening in Las Vegas on May 31 (pictured above).

“She likes her new body so much that she would consider posing for Playboy,” says a friend. And having dated a huge star, she shouldn’t have any problems getting work. “Now that she’s famous, she’d never go back to cocktailing,” the pal says.

George Clooney didn’t just break off his fairytale romance with Sarah Larson — he did it abruptly, leaving the former cocktail waitress shocked and heartbroken and moving back to Las Vegas, friends of the former couple tell FOXNews.com.

“She thought they were getting married. Instead, she got dumped,” a friend said. “She’s really upset. Devastated.”

Larson found herself teary-eyed, packing her bags and walking out the door of the home the couple had shared in Los Angeles.

Friends said the 29-year-old fled to Las Vegas, where she was working at a nightclub in the Palms Casino Hotel before Clooney swept her off her feet one year ago.

The pretty brunette, a former “Fear Factor” reality show contestant, is already back with her old crowd. Larson made her first public appearance since the breakup on Saturday at the Palms Place Hotel & Spa’s grand opening party.

As things got serious with Clooney, Larson had moved into his Los Angeles mansion, subletting her home in Las Vegas. Tongues wagged that she might be “the one” when he took her to the Oscars this year.

Less than a month ago, the couple were in New York celebrating the actor’s 47th birthday. They were taking it slow, but they were planning to eventually wed, they told friends at the time.

“She’s totally heartbroken and doesn’t deserve this,” a friend said. “It came out of nowhere. They had made all these plans.”

Adding insult to injury, friends say, is this month’s issue of Harper’s Bazaar, which features Larson posed on a motorcycle, clad in Dolce & Gabbana.

The headline reads: “It Girl: Sarah Larson. Don’t hate her because she’s beautiful, fearless … and dates George Clooney.”

Even more painful: In the accompanying interview, Larson gushes about the love of her life, George Clooney.

The Oscar-winning actor/director/producer is one of Hollywood’s notorious bachelors — he’s been named People magazine’s Most Eligible Bachelor and Sexiest Man Alive (twice) and has been romantically tied to a bevy of Hollywood beauties.

He’s been married once, for four years to actress Talia Balsam. Ever since their split in 1993, Clooney has sworn he’ll never remarry. He’s had relationships with actresses Krista Allen and television host Lisa Snowdon.
