George Clooney’s former girlfriend has accused the Hollywood star of ruining her sex life.
British TV presenter Lisa Snowden dated Clooney for five years after meeting while shooting a commercial for drinks brand Martini in 2000. But Snowden confesses she has not had sex in a year - because men are too scared to follow in the movie star’s footsteps.
She says, “I’ve been celibate for a year and starting to think I may never have sex again. Men seem to look at me and think, ‘She went out with George Clooney, what chance have I got?’”
But Snowden admits Clooney was a “good egg” who taught her “a lot about life”.

George Clooney hasn’t learned his lesson - antiwar films about Iraq aren’t popular at the box office. Clooney and his production company, Smoke House, just snapped up rights to Jonathan Mahler’s book “The Challenge,” the story of Salim Hamdan, Osama bin Laden’s Yemeni driver, who is charged in the first US war-crimes trial since World War II, now under way at Guantanamo Bay.
Clooney paid seven figures for the account of Hamdan’s journey from a mosque in Yemen and bin Laden’s compound in Afghanistan to solitary confinement. Clooney is said to be considering one of the lead roles, that of Navy Lt. Cmdr. Charles Swift, who was part of the legal team that took Hamdan’s case to the Supreme Court and won a pretrial decision that even terrorists are covered by the Geneva Convention.
The victory cost Swift his job and marriage.

Even though Sarah Larson is no longer jetting around the world and hitting red carpets with George Clooney, single life is treating her just fine.
“It’s working for me,” she told People of being single Friday before hosting a party at Tao Las Vegas.
Having split from Clooney in May following a year-long whirlwind romance, Larson is now spending most of her time modeling in Los Angeles. As far as jumping into a relationship, no thanks, she says.
“I’m staying single,” said Larson, who wore a Black Halo dresss to the event. “I’m not dating anyone right now.”
Her dating life also excludes The Bank Job star Jason Statham, whom she was linked to after dinner in Las Vegas last month.
“It was a large group of people and I didn’t even know he was at the table,” she said. “We talked for a little bit but it was nothing.”
As for what’s next, “I have a few things I’m working on right now,” she says. “I’ve been focusing a lot on work and things are going very well.”

Want George Clooney’s digits?
Well you can do better and get his phone!
The actor has put his signature cell phone up for grabs at the Art for Life Auction, as part of the Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation.
A brand spankin’ new Motorola ROKR E8 was donated by George for the cause and was the phone he received at this year’s Academy Awards. Labeled “Best Actor - GEORGE CLOONEY” (he eventually lost to Daniel Day-Lewis), the mobile is packaged in a blue snakeskin box with a card stating that the phone “is being presented to the acting nominees & directing nominees only and is not available to anyone else at this time.”
The eternal bachelor is one of the numerous celebrities participating in the auction, which is aimed at raising funds to expose inner city youth to the arts.
If you’re not interested in George’s phone, you can bid online at Charity Buzz for a signed copy of the Sex and the City book by Sarah Jessica Parker, tickets to The Ellen DeGeneres Show or private tennis lessons from Serena Williams.
The auction ends July 24.

Sarah Larson is grateful for her relationship with Hollywood actor George Clooney - because it has helped boost her career.
The couple ended their year-long romance in May and since the split, former cocktail waitress Larson has landed a string of high profile modelling assignments.
She is now the face of fashion designer Christian Audigier’s new line and is in talks to sign several more high profile contracts.
And although the 29-year-old is sad about the break-up, she admits the relationship has definitely changed her life for the better.
She says, “I’m very happy with how things are now. I have a lot of great opportunities, doors that have opened and I have no complaints.
“I make good money, I have a house, I have all the things I’ve always wanted.”
Larson is also determined to help use her new found fame to do more charity work.
She adds, “I’ve never had the desire to really want fame, and now that I have it, I’m trying to use it for something good.”
